Wyldfire, don't do that! ;D I'm sure you probably already are, but be thankful you're going to school! I'm working on it myself and would gladly be doing that right now!! With all of the technology we have now, you'll get to see your movies, I'm sure. I know it's not the same as going to the theatre, but still. . . I am thankful, really!! It's been a long time since I had to juggle work, home, school, etc. But it's coming a bit easier now! Do you have much longer until degree time?

WYLDFIRE. You're going to college to learn how to kick yourself in the head?? What a strange course that is. Ya know, you could just come to Sword School, we could teach you to do that!! But, joking aside, what school are you going to (CSU, Lakeland??) and what ARE you taking up? HANK. Ah, but I wanted to take a course that I could excel at, Hank...what better than kicking one's self in the head?? Actually....I don't think sword school has enough liability insurance to let me have sword, metal or wood......oy, I'd be dangerous! This time, I'm heading into the world of medical....looking to be a medical lab tech. So, thought i'd start out small here and take Medical Terminology. Actually, i'm doing it out of Lakeland, got my first degree there, so I'm familiar and like it, besides, a lot of the courses are online, so that's a total plus for me!

Tuesday, Bun and I will try and catch the new "Pink Panther" movie. HANK.

Well since it was my pick I chose Cronicles of Narnia. The fiirst was a little slow but me being a genealogy buff the part about sending the children away because of the war was interesting and the rest just took me away. I LOVED IT!!!! Now since I picked such a goody dear John is talking about another one in a few weeks. Proved he could live for 2 and a half hours without a smoke. WHOOEEEE

Time for the movie review: Saw "The Pink Panther" today. If you are a fan of slapstick comedy you will love this one. In my humble opinion Peter Sellers "owns" the Inspector Clouseau role. But Steve Martin does a very credible job with it.He brings his own brand of bumbling ineptitude to the role. This is a movie you can take the kids to see. A lot of silly slapstick humor. I might have to find my VHS copies of the original and watch it again for ole time sake. HANK

Watched Walk the Line last night- LOVED it! (but, then again, I'm an old-school Cash fan) Joaquin Phoenix did a very credible portrayal of John. I am really impressed that he and Reese Witherspoon performed all the songs. Shooter Jennings portrayal of his father Waylon was brief, it would have been nice to see a bit more of him. If you've read Johnny Cash's autobiography (as I have) they stayed very true to the person he was.
