SirGeoffrey...So the W.M. is the Evil Empire huh? okay, just never heard it called that before. Anyone remember the TV show "Welcome Back Kotter?" As John Travolta's character "Vinny" use to say. "I'm so confused" Like I said before. "Learn somethin' new every day"
I have no particular disdain for the evil empire. Other than I don't think we need one on every damn street corner. They are becoming ubiquitous. HANK.

Well, I looked at my post and saw the W.M. word was "altered" I dont know what Trevors hatred of W.M. stems from? maybe they short changed him once! Anyway!! I promise never to use that foul word on the board again. OK? Still HANK.

I could go into an entire speil about why I hate them. But to sum it up, they are the main reason that my shop closed. It was their price pressures on Little Tikes that basically forced them to move most of the production overseas. When a buyer of that size tells a company we are only going to pay X amount for an item and if you don't like it we are going to cancel all our orders for everything you make. They leave little choice in the matter.

Well Trevor, I can see why that might tick ya off a bit. But really, who's fault is it? If little Tike's and these other companies didn't kowtow to them they wouldn't have any product to sell and they would close their doors. Sure they are a big company, but Tike's could sell their product in K-Mart, Target, or any number of other places.

Heck, W.M. doesn't even ALWAYS have the cheapest prices. Castrol Syn Tec for example is no cheaper than what I can buy it for at Auto Zone, or Advance. And their DVDs are not significantly cheaper then Best Buy, or Block buster. I know. I recently priced some of the "Pink Panther" DVDs to complete my collection. The best price I found was the video store inside Giant Eagle. HANK.

Sure they are a big company, but Tike's could sell their product in K-Mart, Target, or any number of other places. See, that is the problem. They are so huge, that their percentage of the market on things like toys is more than all their competition combined.
