Just a heads up here for all you BATTLESTAR GALACTICA fans, ( I'm becoming less of one with each boring episode) It is returning from it's mid season break this Sunday, January 21 at 10:00 PM, on the Sci-Fi channel. HANK.

Yeah, this season hasn't been the greatest. It has had some awesome eps, but they are few. And the eps between them leave a lot to be desired.

Just a couple of observations on SciFi Sunday? night. Saw the Dresden Files; Not bad. a little Harry Potter (Ya got all these birds, owls/ravens looking after this kid, Scott, who is/going to be a wizard.) a little Angel (The supernatural private eye thing) and a little Supernatural (hunts demons and things) and probably a few other things I can't think of at the moment. Could be a decent show.
Then we have "Days of our Battlestar Lives" This is the best drama on television?? Thats what the commericial for it says anyway. Certainly not my opinion! This piece of crap is turning into more of a day time soap opera with each episode. Get away from all this religious mumbo jumbo crap anyway! and the same goes for the damn baby. So the machines and the humans had a baby. So what?! What's he gonna be, the six million dollar man? And what the hell is all this crap about "who are the other five Cylons" ya invented yourself for God sakes, don't ya know who ya are? I think the humans invented the "toasters" now if the human like Cylons did not creat themselves then who the hell did, The BORG? I feel the writers of this show have lost focus. First the Cylons try to destroy all of humanity by nuking 12 entire planets, and now they want to buddy up with them and find God/Earth, whatever. I think I will just tape this show and go to bed on Sunday night. That way I can watch it later and fast forward thru all the boring religious mumbo jumbo, the baby, and Apollo/Starbucks screwed up love live. WAIT!!! there's nothing left. HANK.

Can someone please tell me what the hell is the SciFi channel doing? The Dresden Files and Battlestar Galactica are just two episodes into their new season and already they pre-empted them tonight for what, a repeat of the first two episodes of the Dresden Files? (thats what the TV Guide shows) Isn't it a little early for repeats?
Dresden is an OK show. B.G. is getting more boring with each episode, so don't ya think if you want to keep your fans watching you should try and keep some continuity to the story? HANK.

Hank. The reason is because the don't want to waste new eps. Showing new eps tonight would be a waste as most of the country will be watching the Super Bowl. Sure, not everyone will be, but why waste new eps on what will already be a very low ratings night.

Ya know Trevor I think you're right. Not being a football fan I did not even realize yesterday was the Super Bowl till someone asked me yesterday if I was going to watch it. The answer being NO! HANK.

Thought I would revive this thread. Yeah, Eureka and Warehouse 13 are getting close to finishing their seasons.
But Sanctuary Season 2 and SG Universe will be starting in 2 weeks.
Not sure how I feel about SG-U. I mean, it will be great to have some new Stargate on TV. But I don't know how good it will be. And from what I have seen in previews, I don't know if the premise will be all that interesting. Guess I iwll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, tentitively looking forward to that......curious to see how it goes. Of course, I'll happily watch anything with Lou Diamond Phillips in it.

Yeah, I like Eureka. Though this season hasn't been quite as good as previous seasons. I think because there hasn't been anyone like Stark. A foe for a bit of a season arc.

This is our first season, so I can't compare. We have been catching some back season episodes, though, so we're catching up. What exactlly happened to Stark anyway? Been wondering about that.

Basically he died. Heroically, saving everyone from something (little unclear on the details at this point)

After watching Stargate Universe last night ( I had taped it) I think a more appropriate title would be "Dingalings in Space." If you were to equate this bunch to a football team, they would be the third string.
This show had better get better fast or it will lose all but the most die hard Stargate fans. And Dill, whats up with your buddy Lou Diamond Phillips? I thought he was suppose to be one of the main characters in this, all he had was a few seconds of screen time. And I don't believe he is even on board the ship. Is he?
Don't know what the writers were thinking when they came up with this tripe.
HANK.

I was wondering where he went myself. Three seconds of screen time was NOT my idea of 'starring.....'. And yeah, I have to agree with you on the rest of it as well. We'll give it some slack, hope it improves, but I REALLY was not impressed.
