Thought I would move this conversation to a thread of it's own. It was a little hard for me with the BSG being that I'm still use to the old ones. But not giving up on it. You aren't the only one that is going to be glued to Sci-Fi on Fridays. John(The Master- ) can't wait for Atlantis I didn't have any trouble at all getting into it. I think because I didn't try to compair it to the original. I just approached it as a completely new show.

I just have to rethink it in a different light.
Starbuck could have a daughter out there who is as off the wall . It would be good if they could connect her to the original Starbuck for us old fans

Actually, I kinda try and completely forget the original. I had fond memories of it, until I actually saw a few episodes again.

Curse the networks and the names of the foul elder gods from whom they draw their power, for placing Stargate SG1 and Star Trek Enterprise in the same Time Slot. Curse them into the firey immortal blazes of the infinate hells!
...And.... CURSE Battlestar Galactica for pushing Stargate into said time slot! And... Uh....
Ummm...
Curse stuff.
Cursefully.

You do realize that SG1 is shown twice on Friday nights? Actually all 4 of the shows on SciFi on Fridays are repeated that same night.

Yes, but through force not of my own choosing, often lack the ability to stay past the Battlestar for the second round - y'see, I never managed to get into battlestar so I stop watching then, at which point I have to resume at 11 to Midnight, and on a friday night, I'm usually pretty beat from being up til 3ish ever night through the week, and getting up at the latest 8 every morning. Rambling, blah. But yeah. I have issues. VREEHEHE.

Contra - I bring you a missive from my smart ass boyfriend. He says buy a VCR or get a TiVo.
I suppose that would work. But I do believe you are right in cursing the network gods and their poor planning.

Well Trevor took your advice and watched BSG as a whole new series and it worked. I really enjoyed it but dang it have to wait till next week for part 2.
And SG1 was there kooky selfs again. Just love the humor in that show. Also it was nice seeing the girl that played Erin from Farscape on it.

Claudia Black. She is supposed to be back for a mulit-ep story arc next season as well. Should be interesting seeing her play off of Ben Browder(Chriton from Farscape) who joins the SGC next season. Nice to see another Daniel centric ep. He plays well off the others, but can really come through on his own too. Also have really been missing the General, nice to see him back. BSG was a realy good ep. Nice story on Boomer. Anyone else here watch Andromeda? Sometimes I feel like I am all alone in loving this series. SciFi doesn't even mention it when they talk about there sci-fi Friday nights

I'm glad to hear her and Chriton will be back on tv. I just love her accent and the chemistry between her and Daniel was great. I thought Adromeda was repeats and that was why they weren't annoucing about that show.

Nope, Andromeda has been new eps for 3 weeks now. Last week was the 100th ep, and they had a short bit with a bunch of outtakes set to music at the end of it, pretty funny You can catch that tomorrow 1/30/05 at noon on WGN if you get it. You can catch last nights ep - WBNX, Sat Feb 05 06:00pm EST WFXP, Sat Feb 05 06:00pm EST WGNSAT, Sun Feb 06 11:00am EST
