I saw the trailer for Reacher when I saw Expendables 2 (BTW - they are already starting to get things together for a 3rd in that series) Haven't seen previews for Hansel & Gretal, but they had a big display set up in the lobby for it. And yeah, it looked interesting.

Saw Jack Reacher today, good movie. If you like "Taken" you'll like Reacher.
Saw previews for the new G.I. Joe movie, suppose to be coming out in March 2013. Bout damn time, it was suppose to come out August 2012. Don't know why the delay.
Looking forward to DJANGO next. But I gotta wonder, why would you release a movie on Christmas day. How many people do they think will attend?

Saw Now You See Me today. Good movie. Entertaining, and kept you guessing until the end. Both my wife and I really enjoyed it.
Saw Fast & the Furious 6 last weekend. IF you are a fan of the series, you'll love it. It's exactly what you want from a FF movie.

Hey Trevor. Did you ever get the feeling the airport runway in F&F 6 must extend from Conneaut to Lorain. It took that plane a half hour to get airborn.

Yeah, I noticed that. But I tend to tunr off my brain when I watch movies like that, and just enjoy the ride. There were plenty of other scenes that are just as impossible.
Forgot to mention antoher movie I am looking forward to. RED 2 If it's half as good as the first one, it would still be a blast.

Yeah, like flipping that tank with a little bitty cable. Only in Hollywood. Red 2 is on my must see list also, along with a number of others. Nice thing about being retired, more time to catch movies.

Saw "Bad Grampa" yesterday. That is one outrageously funny movie. Looking forward next week to "Enders Game" and "Last Vegas." Both look pretty good from the previews I've seen.

It's been ages since I have been able to make it to the movies.
Gonna have to set some time aside to go here again pretty soon.

Trevor. In the how much snow thread you mentioned you were going out to a movie. What did ya see? I'm guessing The Hobbit. Saw that today, it was good but kinda long, almost 3 hours. Looking forward to Grudge Match, and 47 Ronin.

Yeah, I saw the Hobbit, the wife saw the Madea Xmas movie. The Hobbit was good, but as you said, too long. Like 2 hours, 40 minutes. Add in commercials and previews and you are talking close to 3 hours. I think they could have edited out a little here, and there and made it a much better movie. Lose the female elf stuff, half the river chase, and half the chase at the end, and it would have been a nicely paced movie.
Speaking of previews, I was bummed they didn't show the trailer for he new Godzilla. [pout] I've seen it on YouTube, but I wanted to see it on the big screen.
Did like the preview for 47 Ronin. Hope the show times fit my schedule.

I hear ya about the Hobbit. And what was with that opening scene where Gandalf meets with Thorin, or whatever that head dwarfs name is PRIOR to all the dwarfs showing up at Bilbo's house. That really made no sense, they coulda left that out, no problem. Another thing. That good looking dwarf that got shot with the arrow, when did he join the crew? I watched the first movie on DVD Sat. before seeing the new one, and I don't remember him. If he was in the first movie he certainly played no prominent role.Other than the leader most of them guys had really goofy looking beards and were kinda old.
You didn't miss anything by not seeing the Godzilla previews as they sucked. Too dark, couldn't really see anything. I will catch the movie when it comes out as I've been a fan since the original, going back to what, the late 50's?
Yeah, 47 Ronin rocked. (at least the previews, movies not out till next Wed.) Got dragons, martial arts, whats not to like?

Saw Grudge Match, and 47 Ronin today. Both good movies. If you like The Hobbit you'll like 47 Ronin. A lot of the same elements in both movies. Grudge Match is one funny movie. Sly and Dinero do an excellent job of spoofing Rocky and Raging Bull. Hey Trevor, a few post back you made mention of a movie you wanted to see: Sin City, a dame to kill for. Did that ever make the theaters cuz I don't ever remember that title?

From a quick search, looks like it won't hit theaters until August.
