Hank, I love HOUSE MD!
He's soo sarcastic, and Brainey at the same time!
Gotta love him have you ever heard him naturally speak? An english cockney accent if I ever heard one. Drive?? Well that was one STRANGE show...It did not grow on me.

We also like House. The only problem: He always saves the patients. Very seldom does he or his crew get it wrong and a patient dies. (I know the last few a patient died.) We keep returning because his attitude is just so weird. Never saw Drive. Didn't catch my interest. We are upset that The Black Donnelys were cancelled. We liked that show.

I do not know how many of you watch Heros but if you have missed a couple episodes like I have they are running a marathon on SciFi Saturday starting at 9am. it is 21 hours long so be ready for a long day. if you are looking for a specific episode you can go on the TV Guide channel (tvguide.com) and go to Saturday for a grid of everything showing that day. If you "hover" over the name of the program you are looking for you will get a brief synopsis of that episode.

Hey Hank, after that conversation regarding a pirates reality show I did a little looking around on the internet, found CBS website and there was a link there to the show that's coming up. So here, for everyone who is interested, is the link to the main site page, there's a lot of other links there going to various things about the show and pirates, I haven't had a chance to look at them all just yet but certainly seems rather interesting. piratemasterwiki.cbs.com/

For you POTC fans here is a TV show that might be worth a look. Next Thursday (5-31-2007) at 8:00PM is a new show called Pirate Master. (See Jessica's link for more info) The quick recap is a group of 16 people set sail aboard a Pirate ship seeking treasure. The show is on CBS, so ya might want to check it out and make up your own mind. HANK.

Gotta disagree with ya Hepz....John was the one who figured out the 3 key lock, and the clue where the treasure was, so with out him the Black team may not have won. then the captain hogs all the loot for himself! That alone in my book would have earned him the "BOOT!!". As for stealing the compasses, well I guess that was allowed as the host did not make him return them. Should be interesting to see how they fair without compasses, what the captain said will work to a degree, just better hope it's not cloudy. I like the show...I just wish they had done a better job introducing all the crew, seems like they only did certain ones.
Must have taken a lot of training to teach them how to "work" the ship. All them sails and ropes and things can be kind of daunting to someone not in the know. A fun show..I'll watch it again. HANK.

I am surprised JD did not ask for the compasses back before he set John adrift. Being the captain, he should have asked for them. There wasn't any rule saying he couldn't.
I think they are only introducing the ones the producers think are the most interesting.
The host said they all had sailing practice before. I wonder how long they took classes. The ship is great! It must be hard. I wonder who the "real" captain is that is actually sailing the ship.

SciFi Channel is definitely going through some changes this year.
Last season of Stargate: SG-1... Then, it's on to two movies; "Ark of Truth" which finishes up the Ori storyline, and then "Continuum" which has Baal causing mayhem with time travel.
Stargate: Atlantis threw everyone for a loop this weekend. The Producers wanted to do something to shake things up a bit. I'm not going to spoil things, but it's got a lot of reaction from fans.
Battlestar Galactica will have a 2-hour "special event" in November, with new episodes starting in January 2008. Oh, and SciFi was informed that BSG's Producers decided to end the show after the 4th season. Like Babylon 5, they have a story to tell, and won't drag it out past what is supposed to be the end. .. Btw, there's still one more Cylon to be confirmed. My bet's on Starbuck.

Beerblessing....I'd say that was a safe bet. A few episodes ago did we not see Starbuck "die" when her ship exploded in the atmosphere of some planet? Then at the end of the season final I believe she was seen flying her ship in the final scene. Well, DUH! The only explanation that would make sense is that the Ceylon's made another copy. Either that, or the whole thing was just a hallucination.
I for one am glad this will be the final season. The first season was good, but it went downhill from there to the point it was becoming GOD AWFUL BORING!! I wasn't even going to bother watching the forth season, BUT! now that I know the finish line is in sight I might suffer thru it just to see how it turns out. HANK.

The other option is that Starbuck was telling the truth.. She went into the vortex and POOFed out at Earth. No way to find a body, afterall. ... And a hallucination in BSG? NEVER!
The arguments against Starbuck being a cylon, with retorts: 1A) You know she has a family. 1B) Unless it's all programmed memories. The Adama's only met her once she was in training, if I recall correctly.
2A) The cylons on one of the planets (with the black doctor cylon) kept her because she had a viable reproductive system. 2B) But we know cylons can have kids.. Just kinda rare, and it may require a human.. Since Athena and Chief both have kids, so it's not one-gender-only.
3A) Starbuck has a Destiny. She sees that spiral/circular design and stuff.. 3B) This is cylon implanted mind stuff. 3C) How could cylons implant designs left by the humans on the way to Earth? The cylons wouldn't know those designs.
The one question I want to go back and watch for: Before the Xena cylon (Lucy Lawless) got shelved, she saw the Final Five. To which one was she referring to when she said "You?!" We know four of the Final Five, so I want to see what encounters Xena had with the four while on New Caprica. I think it'd be either Sol or Starbuck, as both were known to be incarcerated by the cylons.
Bah! I can't wait for the next season to come out!! I guess I'll have to start watching the first couple seasons on DVD now..
