This is exciting! I've heard raves about Broon, and look forward to seeing him. Can't wait to see who else will be performing in the shire!

I faint with excitement. Good thing I was sitting in my chair. It will be a pleasure to have Broon back at GLMF!

Broon does escapes from ropes and chains, and straight-jackets while being suspended in midair, juggles bowling balls (yeah, you heard me. Bowling balls!) things like that.
I don't know if Johnny's show has anything like that or not.

The things that make Johnny and Broon similar, are fire eating and straight jackets. But, the juggling prize goes to Broon. And yes, one of Broon's shows has him hanging from the trees in a stright jacket.... Here's that other show that "Johnny" did back in the day..... Note the remarkable "hair"..... www.velocity.net/~goforit/schicken.html Kit

I remember Broon and Benedict's chicken (Johnny Phoenix) they were sitting on stage between shows, not really doing anything and they were funnier than the show. I always thought when Broon when off to do the Bristol faire that Johnny Phoenix took over doing his stunts at GLMF.

Broon coming back is wonderful news! I need a new Broon t-shirt - mine fell apart I wore it so much! *g* Some other past performers I've missed are Liza Kay and Jacky Tappet. Any chance on seeing them back up this way? Some For those of you who don't know him Broon is by far the funniest show the festival circuit has ever seen. He is an inspiration to acts like hackand Slash, johnny Phoenix, and the like. He was a staple at GLMF for years. He is a part of a plan that to bring the highest quality performers back to the faire. By doing this we are raising the quality of the show as a whole and thereby increasing attendance which has been down for the past several years. Other things are in the works but I will not break any news until negotiations are finished with each. That way no false information is released to start rumors.
