Well, it's noon and the official board is down.
Looks like it has been wipped clean too.

The boards are no more. The GLMF message boards are being permanantly removed. A cast only section will remain for information on rehearsals and the like.

I just got the email from the faire. If there is anyone you want to stay in touch with, let them know about this board or Brunhilda's.

As is said in the Monty Python skit....
"The Board is no more...it has ceased to be!"

I'd keep this layout, personally...otherwise folks wandering in here (and it may happen) might think that this Site is linked with or connected officially to the Faire, which you are not...you are a separate and independent entity and frankly I wouldn't want any connection with a bunch of insecure folks who have temper tantrums and take "their toys" home to play.... But that's just me...Do what you feel is right, Trev....(I just happen to like "earth tones" like this more...)

I'm going to keep things the way they are for now. Will be continuing with the updates that I had planned (now I just have to speed things up though ) I will wait and see how things go. It isn't hard to re-order, add, or remove sections. So that won't be a problem to morph with any growth.

I've contacted Trevor to see if we can move some of the GLMF threads to this board. If it is at all possible we will do it. If you have any particular threads you would like to see moved here, post the name of the thread or at least a good description so we can find it.

Season Passes and how those will be handled for those of us who already have a Faire ID and can we buy Season Passes via "Snail Mail" and have the Pass (sticker?) waiting for us at "Will Call" on Opening Day.

I thinnk he is talking more about things like some of the fun links that have been posted, as well as some of the ongoing 'fun' threads.
Thank you for posting Brook. I wanted to make an announcement, but was going to ask permission first.
Remember folks. They don't have to do this. They are being nice in giving us this option. So lets not get out of hand.

You had to see this coming. It was inevitable. The only way to control what you have no control over is to destroy it. It was like putting down a rabid dog, or shooting a horse with a lame leg.
It wasn't good for the Faire anymore, so it was dumped.
Kinda like they dumped other things that "weren't good for the Faire anymore" . . . .

Hmmm...not sure I like be compared to a lame horse or a rapid dog! LOL! I look at it more like the McCarthy era...when you didn't answer a question the way "they" wanted you to, you got dragged off before you could voice your opinion or they turned off the microphones... Sorry...just what it feels like to me...
