"I've been to the Excaliber Hotel in Vegas for the tournament show.
Yes, they are showmen, but they can be fantastic horsemen"
Hrmm....well....I know where I won't be this season...

BK,were you there recently? hubby and I were there last year-and yes we stayed at The Excaliber. His company had seminars in LAS, when isnt Vegas booked with seminars? Anywho, his company gave him a choice of 5 high priced Hotels, Caesars for one, I piped up and mentioned why dont we stay at The Excaliber?
It was good..as long as no creepy crawlies were seen I was fine with that- now Hilton Head SC is another issue-Gorgeous, but quite marshy.
Both geographic locations I would return to...

The lineup looks great and since I don't remember seeing the jousters before I'm willing to have a look at them. Have a great season Scott.

We are also planning the Highland Pipes Competition to occur on the 3rd weekend (the Celtic weekend). $500 Grand Prize! Details to come. If you know of any groups that would be interested, let them know and steer them to this site when the details are posted. Also, the auditions went well and it looks like we are going to have a real fleshed out village with a lot of memorable characters! Crap. Unfortunate timing. The Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival is that weekend. I'd expect to see more pipers there.. Perhaps next year Celtic weekend won't conflict. Again. Hrmm... I wonder how we can get ahold of the Cleveland Police Pipes and Drums, or the Cleveland Firefighter Pipes and Drums.. They may take interest if some of them can spare not going to the Cleveland Irish Fest...

Seriously!
Question for Scott and Sarah: Why does this keep happening?Wouldn't it be wise to make sure they don't conflict so that people who enjoy irish traditions don't have to choose between them each year? Is it a matter of when the acts for that weekend can make it?

It's way more complicated then that.....it's all in the timing of when we have to make final decisions and when they set there dates.......
