This years site clean up starts at 10 AM April 14th.
For anyone who doesn't know what this is.
A couple years ago, the faire started letting some of us patrons volunteer to help get the faire site into shape before the season starts.
We rake leaves, clear sticks. Paint stages and props. Repair stages and such. Move things around. All kinds of stuff to help make the stages and other performing areas clean, interesting, neat and tidy.
It's also a great way to extend the faire season. The work can be very hard, and dirty. But you get to be on the grounds before the season. You get to hang out with, meet, and work with others that come to faire. We have lots of fun while working, and share some good times. You get a better idea of what it takes to pull this off every season, as well as a look at some of the new stuff before anyone else.
Sarah is the one who rides heard on us all.
She's the one with the list of projects that need done, and she co-ordinates who does what on any given day.
You don't have to set things up ahead of time, just show up at the faire site, find Sarah and see what she needs done.
Though it does help if she knows who might be showing up when so she can plan for it.
It's only on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 AM until usually 4 or 5. Depending on how much needs done, and how many people are there.
If you want more information, or just to drop Sarah a line and tell her you might be showing up on a certain date, her email is.

If you still want to get a better idea what it is like here are links to the threads for previous years.
