Our new Robin Hood will be Andrew Meade. Andrew has been doing Renaissance festivals since he was a child. He learned his stage combat skills from Myself, Tom Laitinen, and Ryan Gigliotti of To the Hilt. Over the years I have seen Andrew grow into a fine actor and combatant. I look forwardto seeing what he willbring to our production.

Last time I saw Andrew was in Fla. at the Sarasota Faire. I remember when Andrew and Erik used to hang together. Great to see him back at GLMF. Is Jeanette coming up too? It would be great to see her there for the summer as well. How many of you remember Andrew from about eight years ago or so? Jog those memories folks.

His visage really does strike some sort of memory, but I can't quite place him at the GLMF, can anyone help me here? I began attending the faire about 8 or 9 years ago.
BTW, congrats to our new Robin!

OKAY HACK...I gotta complaint here...Ya posted a picture of the new Robin Hood and ya got these women droolin all over themselves lusting for him. Well I demand equal time for all us "Dirty Ole Men." let's have a photo of the new Maid Marion.
These ladies are always complaining about having equal rights....Well I say us guys have the right to drool and slobber all over ourselves too! Oh sure, a small percentage of the male gender will be gaa gaa over Robin, and thats cool, but for most of us guys it's ladies in killer outfits that have us coming back to Faire. So, how 'bout a photo? HANK.

Andrew has been at this faire before but he was achild last time he was here. His Mother is Jeanette Walmsley who plays Lady Ophelia the Dance Mistress at many festivals around the country. When he was here he and Caleb Ash ran the Climbing wall. As for photos of Marion i don't have one yet. SOON THOUGH.

As the new Maid Marion I am slightly creeped out by the thought of anyone "slobbering" over me...and yet also highly amused. Hank is just a dirty old pirate....looks rough but has the heart of a teddybear.

No! Personally I am also a little taken a back by the comments being made about both our lead roles. Just because a woman know how the male mind works and happens to be a beautiful and intelligent creature does not mean they should have to listen to the way the male mind works or be made to feel uncomfortable about comments made about them. For all of the Focus on Chivalry that there is at the medieval faire the comments made on this board are not a representation of that focus. Please try to be gentlemen and understand that these people are not just here to look pretty they are here to entertain and they put a lot of hard work and dedication in to there roles. ~Christine Prince Assistant Entertainment Director
