Bless the mark! I must have become daft due to this late hour! In but a mere three hours, I must awaken myself unto the new den and travel across the land to the land o' the cube. There I shall work myself to the bone afore I return home to my simple domicile and take a brief repast. Once I have gained a rounded and full belly, then might I lay me head down and rest. Good e'en to all you good gentles, tis time for Penfold to count a few sheep and rest his weary pate upon a soft pillow.

I am going to detour back to the serious for a moment. But only for a moment. I feel the need to publicly respond to some of the comments made by Joe. I have already sent him a PM to discuss things, but I thought a couple things need to be public.
This may not be the official forum. But I will never have an issue with any faire officer sticking up for or protecting one of their cast members. I would actually loose respect for any that did not. Have some people over-reacted. Maybe, maybe not. It all depends on your perspective. From where I am sitting it looks like a little over reaction from both sides of the discussion. I say we drop the whole thing and let things get back to normal. There are way too many good things going on this year to dwell on the little bumps in the road. If you want to discuss it, PM me. But any more about it in this thread and I will lock it and move it.

Okay, as a wonderful group of people just recently subjected me to - GROUP HUG, DEAR FRIENDS! Just don't squish the new cast members before they even begin!
I can't wait to see the new interpretations of these two actors in these roles - it's always fun to see how the energy plays out.
ps... WE LOVE PENFOLD.

So, did you jump up and click your heels when you said that? I have such fond memories of watching Reginold Devonshire do that every day during our first season. You! Hijack a thread Never heard of such a thing

I can hardly wait to see the shows with our new cast members. I think that seeing Andrew as Robin will be great. I must admit that I don't remember ever seeing our new Maid Marion, but she sure does look the part. I am pumped. I'm heading up there to work on the booth in a couple weeks, as soon as school is out. I hope to meet all the new cast members and see all my old friends. The time is near!!!

Yes, I too am excited. While I would have loved to see our old cast members stay in the roles, I am excited about the possibilities the new cast open up.

I am pleased with the new Robin Hood. I understand he was at the final year of GPRF in 2005, but I don't remember him. Mayhap because I was a shy, backward newbie and didn't interact with cast much then. I know, hard to imagine, but true!

i definitely agree. they both look the part. to be honest, i was scrolling quickly past the picture to get to the text thinking "oh, i'll look at the picture when i'm done reading all this." but then had to take a double take as from first glance he reminded me of one or two of the actors in the robin hood bbc series. and marion is absolutely beatiful, and looks both sweet and tough enough to be absolutely perfect. I have no doubt that she'd have no problem with any of those stuffy nobles ;D (just kidding)
and what about the pucking?!?!?!?! there is no way we could get along without that. plague-ridden rats are so much fun to watch being chucked around with little crooked sticks.
