That stupid song about the chic who gets revenge on her boyfriend/husband for cheating on her by keying his expensive SUV, carving her name in the leather seats, taking a baseball bat to the headlights, etc...Yah...a wonderful song on how women should deal with something like that...become a frickin' vandal...and Honey? If you're going to do a crime...for heaven sake...carve SOMEONE ELSE'S name into the seats...
I really, really despise that song...

Hank, just trust me and thank your lucky stars that you DON'T know.......................... And anyone who does songs titled things like 'Your Body Is A Wonderland' ought to be shot on principle anyway! The kid DOES have a perfectly decent voice, just his brand of ooey, gooey pop has always made my teeth ache anyway, and then all this 'guitar hero' bulls**t starts.......ARRRRUUUGGHH!!!!! Ya like gooey pop, great. Lots of people do. BUT DON'T EVER CALL PERFORMERS OF THAT GOOP 'GUITAR HEROS'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( Sorry, old school here, I like my performers to have actual TALENT, not just a load of electronics, a pushy 'imaging team', and good looks!!!!!)

I've never heard the guy either, and from what Dillasandra says, I'm not sure I want to.
But I do agree with her on the whole "guitar hero" thing. A guitar hero should know more than three chords on a guitar. I can play three chords on a guitar, and I have little or no musical talent.

'Cruel To Be Kind'. Don't know who does it, but it just irritates me! Probably because I used to know a guy who used it as an excuse when he wanted to treat me like a jerk. ( Yeah, Jaz, you know who I'm talking about!)

'Back In The Saddle Again', Aerosmith
Don't mind the band, take 'em or leave 'em, but I just HATE the screaming in that particuliar song.............same with Prince and 'Kiss'.

Tom Jones does a much better version than Prince, even though it is Prince's song.
Song I hate, "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne, one of those songs that gets stuck in your head until you want to rip it out with a jackhammer!!!

Not really a SONG, persay, but it's a hideous take off on one....if I NEVER hear the Ohio lottery's spin on the old' Banana Boat Song 'for their '10 - O' game again, it'll be too soon................. ( I LIKED the 'Banana Boat Song'......... )

I hate it when a company or a business takes a popular song, especially one I like, and uses it for their commercials. Makes me want to do this

"How to Save a Life" by the Fray The Fray make we want to stab myself in the ears.... Anything by My Chemical Romance... They played at a concert I was at and I can not understand how all these kids like them. They can't play their instruments and all they do is whine and scream!

Some of the songs listed previously would be on my "Do Not Play List" also, but not most of them. What really makes me start disliking songs usually, is having to hear them 357 times a day on the radio--o.k., so I'm exaggerating a little, but that's what it seems like sometimes. As for the Christmas songs, overplaying doesn't begin to cover it! A few years ago, some of the stations I used to listen to started playing Christmas music, NON STOP, from Thanksgiving til New Years!!! OMG! I quit listening to said stations during that period of time now!
Besides just getting sick of hearing some of the songs that many times, it actually makes me angry often too. Many times a perfectly good song that a lot of people like starts getting overplayed and then a lot of people start disliking the song/artist as if they're to blame. It can cause a lot of backlash and then people don't want to hear their stuff at all. That upsets me.
I certainly have to agree w/Capt. Morgan's post about what my son calls "The Criminal Song" about slashing the tires, etc. The same thing I said, besides not agreeing with the whole destroying/vandalizing someone else's property, was dumba**, don't put your name on it!!! Maybe the little hoochie momma he's foolin' around with?!? lol
There are a few newer songs I hear on one of the top 40 pop stations I sometimes listen to that just set my teeth on edge, basically the first time I heard them. Not that I don't like other things from the artists/groups, but for some reason these songs, UUUGGGHHHH!! There's a Bon Jovi song, "Let's Make A Memory", I think is the name, YUUUCCCKK! I can't remember the other one's right now. I was gonna go listen to the radio cause I figured they'd be playing them again any second, but the Saturday 7o's show is on.
Guess that means Trevor and a few others on here aren't listenin' to that show, huh!

"She Bangs" by Ricky Martin. Heard it today and it really got on my nerves for some reason.

Yeah, sometimes songs do that to me too. Especially really sappy, sickeningly sweet love songs, lately anyway. I know the reason for that though. "She Bangs" by Ricky Martin was never a great song, but I always liked the dance beat. Howere, it became sickening, like the first time that guy croaked it out on t.v., and then everybody had to play it so they could laugh at him. Real, funny! He got a record contract out of it, and people who could really sing were struggling. Can anyone say, laughing all the way to the bank!
I also have to agree with Dillasandra about "Cruel to be Kind." For the music, fine. The sentiment, get real. Don't p*** on me and tell me it's rainin', ya know what I mean. You aren't tryin' to be kind by bein' cruel--you're bein' cruel!!
