Okaaaaaaaay. Little confused here. I think this may belong on the 'What Song......' thread??! Don't get me wrong, Apocalyptica is a hell of a band and I'm liking everything I've heard so far from 'Worlds Collide', but they are SOOOOOO not a Celtic band..........................

Last week, the Young Dubliners played in Cleveland. Eric Rigler was with them again! .. And this time around, there were some cd's from hsi band Bad Haggis. WOW!!! I am very impressed, and surprised at just how well the celtic and latin can blend... If you get a chance to listen to them, DO SO!

Alright, so I didn't make it to see Mossy last night..
And tonight I'm not sure if I'm going to the Kreellers or not... Trying to head off a chest cold. (With ten days until Arizona, the last thing I need is to get sick!)

Saw an interesting band at the Arizona Renaissance Festival.. Tartanic.. I caught a small bit of their show last year at Michigan, and caught a full set this past weekend.. Not bad... They just seem to try too hard to sell cd's, and some of the jokes seem forced. Kinda like if Tartan Terrors took up the Tortuga Twins business model....
I could see them for Celtic Weekend if you can't get Tartan Terrors..

Okay, Tempest, along with Timberwolf, Tuesday, April 21 at the Winchester on Madison Ave. in Lakewood. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets $10 in advance, $12 day of show.
I know nothing about Timberwolf, but Tempest is an old favorite, mostly celtic rock with a bit of world music as well as trad. celtic. Nice guys, too.
And I can afford this one! ;D ;D ;D
