It was really great to come out and see old faces and new. I only got to stay till 3:00 pm but it was a lovely day and I'm looking forward to coming back and seeing more of it.

"No one seemed to know when the day had actually ended." Thats because it didnt, everyone just had to "temporarily" leave and comeback the next weekend, see it will go off on the last weekend last day of faire, until then you'll just have to keep on coming back and enjoy our company again! Lovely sentiment, but doesn't help when you don't know when to start packing up and bring in the vehicles. Couldn't have said it better myself! We do love you guys and the Faire, but for some of us it's also a JOB, and we're tired, cranky, and REALLY ready to end the day and start a very LOOOOOOOOONG drive home, so having to wait and wonder is just sheer frustration............................

Hank, if you really need a program, you can get one at the souvenir stand. That's where I got one for the Grove. And, the cast should be listed.
Saw part of the joust, and was disappointed. Very nice show for the patrons and tourists. But for those of us who broke our teeth on full-contact, it left a great deal to be desired.
Loved Elysium, but missed Mark's bouzouki, especially with "Kashmir". Which isn't to say there was anything wrong with the performance, it rocked!!!

What a great weekend! It was so wonderful seeing friends I haven't seen in forever.... Didn't see many shows because I was catching up with everyone, but I did see Elysium and I enjoyed the show. I too miss Mark's bouzouki, but *hopefully* I'll be seeing Wine and Alchemy sometime in the near future. Did a quick walk to check out the vendors, and I liked what I saw. Will have to bring more cash next time and buy some shiny things! The weather was perfect, especially Saturday. Not too hot, with a very pleasant breeze. If only the weather Gods would bless us like that for the next five weekends! This being OHIO I'm sure we'll get a crazy mix of different weather, but those mild, breezy summer days are just heavenly. Can't wait to return to the shire and catch some of the other shows!

Steve mentioned a few that were slightly delayed and not set up for opening weekend, but should be onsite this weekend.

I thought opening weekend was great. I wanted to get around more and meet as many of you as I could but I never made it any father that the pub. I met a few friends and that was where we parked. I'll be back on the 26th and I'll make a point of getting around the faire this time. i324.photobucket.com/albums/k329/jmartin7247/faire1.jpg?t=1216006500i'm the 2nd from the right and that was my drinking crew
