Can always count on Turk for a good word...or at least a good laugh! Hope someone will be able to visually document the life and times of the Swordschool this year for those that can't be at faire.

I do think that our hero Penfold should also have a plaque in his honor. How many of us realized that a simple game of "golf" could release so much tension and bring about so much laughter. Oh, I better go now....."I HAVE A JOOOOOB!!

I'm a hero? Whoa. Now that's an awesome feeling to have. Thanks so much for the kind words Turk! And thank you for doing your best to put some positive thoughts into the spotlight. I think that's really important right now.

I will miss all of last year's officers this summer: those who are returning as well as those who are not. You make up the bulk of my memories from rehearsals last year, and it breaks my heart that I cannot return to work with you as cast. The last day of faire, I sent roses to Sean, Brook, Richard and Christy with a message that sums up my feelings for them, and what I will always feel about GLMF 2004: "Thank you for believing." And no matter what happens now, that cannot be taken from me. I hope I can come back some day. But for now, thank you for the best summer of my life.

You know you are a huge hero to a ton of kids that you have taken under your wing and entertained over the years. You are one of the best I have ever seen at helping and entertaining our smaller attendees.

Hey All, I just wanted to let you know that I will not be returning on cast this summer. This has NOTHING to do with the people at the faire, but my own life has put me on a path away from the faire. I have applied at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill to enter the graduate costuming program. As a costumer I wish to further my education so that I may possibly make a living doing something I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! I will try to make it to the faire to visit at least once. Thanks to everyone for making the past two summers amazing!
Luv, Courtney aka Amenda Patchit '03 aka Queen Foraday '04
