Kat and Trevor...Ditto! Freezing rain for the most part. Driveway slushy, car windows encased in a thick crust of ice! roads were a mess around 6:00 AM. Not too bad now. Just plain sloppy! HANK.

We could all be paying for it this weekend. Winter storm warning for most of northeast Ohio from tomorrow afternoon until Monday morning. Snow, wind, sleet & freezing rain. I plan to stock up on some essentials (milk, soups, apples) tonight and stay home for the weekend. Good luck to everyone.
Of course, this system could drift south and just brush us, but it's better to be prepared, just in case!

Enough for us to make a new friend! He is very tall, skinny, light brown in color, has very skinny & very long arms and goes by the name Pole!
Telephone Pole to be exact. We were going about 5-7 miles per hour around a bend and the car did not turn. It decided it wanted make a new a friend. My front bumper is pretty much gone, my air horns are toast, there is a very nice crease in the front end. We were able to drive her home and put her in the garage until Mike can see if he can remove the bumper and I can drive around for estimates. The bummer is, we were ready to trade her in for a new car. Oh well.

KAT...Sorry to hear about your car. It is snowing like crazy here at the moment. This morning when I went down to the garage we had about 2 of wet slush on the ground. I just got home from my buddy's house a short time ago and could barely find my driveway. I thought, let me grab some lunch, then fire up the Jimmy and start plowing. BAH HUMBUG!!! WINTER SUCKS !!!!
HANK.

Same here Hank. Around noon it was a couple inches of wet slush. By like 2, we had winds and snow. Glad I was out earlier topping off fluid levels and such in all the vehicles.

I plowed this place around 4:00 PM yesterday, but as I look out the window now it is as if I had not done a thing! Since it is not snowing at the moment I am hoping if I plow it again it will stay plowed for awhile. I need to make some electrical repairs on the Jimmy. My rotating beacon light is not working for one thing, and my volt gauge on the dash will drop from 14 volts to zero every once in awhile. Probably got a bad wire somewhere. If it ain't one damn thing, it's another! I hope it is done snowing for awhile, a looooong while. I for one have had enough of this crap!
HANK.

About 3 or 4 inches of snow, with a nice layer of ice underneath. Say hello to winter!

IS that all. We got something like 6-9 depending on where you were, and how much drifting there was.

Yes, that was all. The wind was worse. Snow is an unpredictable beast, we were expecting more. Next time we'll expect less and get more!
