I feel for you guys in the snow belt! We've got a good ground covering here on the west side, and it's still comming down pretty good. If WE have this much, you guys probably got hit!! The roads are wet but clear, excepting the little side roads that they seldom bother plowing. Thing that gets me is the cold. I've been sick for a week, missed three days of work that I could ill afford, went in yesterday, dragged thru the night, and then woke up today with a fever and feeling hideous.....so, called off again today. Which is just NOT like me! Of course, the set-up there didn't help any, I'm sure. To go to the bathroom, or lunchroom, or smoke, if you do, you now have to go out a side door quite a ways up from the separate building that houses our breakroom and then hike a good ways across an icy, windblown parking lot! Normally, the walk feels good, since we're sitting all the time, and altho I kept my trips to a bare minimum last night, I fear that breathing all that frigid air is what's set me back here! Just hope I can get in the rest of the week! Just hope I'm not too sick for the party...............................

CW...Sounds like you folks up by the lake got it this time. How about you Trevor, what did Conneaut get? We only had a dusting here at our place yesterday, I had to pull my snow plow out of the garage to make room for a car and all I did was make tracks with the feet, the blade is about 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch off the ground and it just skimmed right over the snow. Also, the day seemed warm enough that the asphalt that was exposed to the sun pretty much cleared itself. Hope that crap is over with for awhile. HANK.

We really got nothing today, yet I was listening to Y-103, a radio station out of the Youngstown area and apparently they were getting it bad over in that area. Route 11, I-80, and I-680 had all kinds of accidents from what I was hearing on the radio, and it was snowing like crazy over there. Weird! It just seems to be hitting certain areas and not others. HANK.

We had lots of snow. But it was the fluffy kind that slides off the windshield.

Today we have some funky thick slushy stuff. It's white like snow but walking through it is like hard thick slush.

We're getting it too. Started about 4:30-5:00 this morning. It's that real wet stuff that sticks and freezes when it hits. Waiting to see how many branches this brings down.
