It was a beautiful day for site cleanup! Everyone should be proud of the progress that has been made. While the sticks and leaves may seem endless, a lot of areas have been cleared and all the lanes are open. It was good to see familiar faces and a big thanks goes out to all who shared lunch!

It's wonderous isnt it? Now you can appreciate the Faire after knowing how much effort goes into it behind the scenes and I don't mean acting. Tis good to become involved in every aspect. It does make you love it ! HUZZAH!

Ask and you shall receive... 98% of the sticks are picked up. Old world leaves are raked into piles ready to be removed. New world is about 50% lanes cleared of leaves. Hank did a wonderful job repairing the metal on the gazebo. (tree fell through it) We put it back together on Saturday and it looks great! It was great cleaning up and having cast there. It was fun with them yelling and playing games all over the grounds. That's about it I'll file a report after next weekend.

Yep, that gazebo by the Maypole where the musicians play when you walk in from the main entrance in the morning. A big ole tree branch fell on him and squashed him like a bug!
So Trev...are you going to be coming out any at all? I know you said you were pretty busy through April, but now we are half way through May, and I know Memorial weekend you usually go to Kentucky. HANK.

Actually, Kentucky isn't until July this year (have to miss one weekend of faire)
And if the gods aren't totally against me, I may be able to come out Saturday. (but shhhh. I don't want to jinx it) As far as Britny, I don't know. She is still buried in schoolwork, so I don't know what this weekend looks like for her.
