Hi guys. I actually have two reasons for this message. One: to see how things went today and two: We would like to get out to our booth to start clean-up next weekend. is there any way you can make sure we can get through to our site? (like no branches in that part of the road ect.) we are down by the joust field in case you don't know already. thanks

Yeah. I'd like to hear what kind of shape the place is in after our nasty winter.
It will still be a few weeks before we can get up there. I've got over a dozen large branches in my own yard to chop up yet. (which I was going to do today, but car repairs took my day, and will take up a good part of my time tomorrow) Next weekend my wife graduates from her nursing school. And the following weekend is my son's 21st birthday.
Hoping to make it up for the weekend of the 28th though.

To Trevor and Fairemomrita: Since I will be going out to faire today I will try and do a survey and report on my findings later this afternoon.
Like you Trevor, I have a ton of other things on my plate so I can only devote ONE day a weekend for now to Faire. I have my yard to clean, the office still needs to be finished up as far as the ceiling repair, plus other building maintenance, throw in working on Bunnie's car (plus my truck could use a little maintenance also) and since I have now gone back to work I don't have all the free time I once did, so things are a little hectic around here.
HANK.

Just got home from Faire. we worked mostly on the main driveway coming in from the road, getting that area cleaned up.
FM Rita, you will be happy to know that you will encounter no problems getting to your booth, I believe Bunnie spoke to Steve on the phone today and filled him in. You can enter from the joust entrance, or come down the main road between Stumble and the food court, hang a right at King's Nuts and right over to your space, There are a few branches down by the mud pit entrance but you can detour around them easy enough. Had a tree go down around Pipers Pub area. Sarah already chopped it up for firewood so we just have some branches to dispose of. I did not get back to the Fairyland, washer wench's area myself, but Bunnie and Susan took a ride around and said it was not bad.
Any vendors wishing to commence work on your site can come out starting next weekend, and after that the gates should be open during the week for anyone wishing to come out. If the gates are closed, seek out Sarah or Bret at the houses at the end of the driveway and they will let you in.
Mitch, if you are reading this thread you will be happy to know your old place withstood another winter with but the loss of three shingles (about average) HANK.

So, how goes the clean up? I'm hoping to be able to make an appearance next weekend. Though I am not sure, as I think that may be when we are opening up the camper as well. Though, even if it is, that still may not keep us away.

Thanks

Looks like we might not make it this weekend. On top of opening up the camper, and trying to catch up on things I am not doing because of working OT at the shop, as well as construction work. We are now helping our son move. While it is taking time and much needed energy, it is a great thing. He is finally moving out on his own.

It looks like we will not be there this weekend. Sir John has some work to do around the house before we start watching our youngest grandaughter but hope to make it on the next weekend. Plus he sees the main Doctor on Tuesday and again we see if he goes back to work yet. So he wants to finish things around the house.
