Well, how was the weekend for you? Saturday, was humid, and Sunday was hot. The crowds were large, but not very playful. But from what I heard from many, was they tipped well, and spent fairly freely. So it was good for all but the cast. They were wound up and raring to go on Saturday too, but could find few to play with. This lead to them finding ways to play with other cast members. Which lead to several large bits that were entertaining. For some reason, people were worried on Sunday. I was solo, since Britny was hanging with the friend she brought with her. Seems people thought I may get into trouble if left to my own devices. Don't know where they would ever get that kind of idea Also lead to a bit of shock to others when they learned I was cameraless at times during the day as well. Kind of a double edged sword, that part. On one hand, it was freeing not having it and being able to just enjoy things. On the other hand, it was frustrating when I saw things I just had to capture on film, and not being able to.

I was just surprised at the lack of Jack Sparrows we had this season. Didn't we have around 20 in one day last year?

Beer Hookah.
Stealing Pirate Dave's beer.
Various bits of mischief throughout the weekend.
Best weekend of the year for me yet. Not Faire Season. Year.

Jack Sparrow Scores: Sat: 11 Sun: 8
i was suprised also. Much and I bet on 43.
It was one of Jinxy's best weekends thus far. she's good like that. Mayhap the heat acts as an energizer for her instead of exausting her?
The Beer Hookah was one of the funniest things i've seen in a while.
Trevor and I had a rousing game of GRRing at each other and i ended up climbing a bit on him at one point. Twas nice.

Oh, so that is what it is called. Wasn't sure.
IT was interesting though, and I look forward to playing again.

Oh yeah. I forgot how good it was to see you two in the shire again! It just seemed so right an natural to see you two around the shire. So, John. What did you think of Broon? I know I saw you there, and at Maidens IV, and at the pub

BROON was GREAT the Maidens VI in my opinion is what is drawing all people to that end it is much more crowded than in other seasons i thought.

I also noted the lack of Sparrow clones on my Sunday visit. Du to th eheat, my son discarded his little Sparrow headband and sword in the vehicle.
I am aware that some pirate troops now attend Pennsic. This past weekend was opening weekend - maybe many go there now?

Don't quite know if this belongs here, or with the cast bits, but here I am, so.....
Special kudos where they are so very deserved, to Brook, for that delightfully disturbed Rose 'Girl'!!!!! One of the funniest things I've seen out there in a long time, and, judging from patrons reactions, I wasn't the only one who thought so!
Brook and I have had our diffrences, but I've always been the first to admit that the man is brilliant!!! PLEASE tell me we'll have our oh-so twisted little rose girl for the rest of the run........ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
