I hope not. Once is funny. More than that gets tiring.

-laughs-
He was pretty damned funny.
But knowing Brook, he wouldn't get rediculous with it. He'll probably find another bit to run with.

I also noted the lack of Sparrow clones on my Sunday visit. Du to th eheat, my son discarded his little Sparrow headband and sword in the vehicle. I am aware that some pirate troops now attend Pennsic. This past weekend was opening weekend - maybe many go there now? I'm not sure if it's a pirate troop, but they had a Pirate night at Pennsic last year. Several of the guys in my camp took part in it. They all met up at a certain time dressed in as piratey gear as they could find and walked around chanting or singing something. I was watching Midrealm hold court at the time so I'm not sure what they were saying, but it was interesting to see 100+ people walking past. I assume they'll do the same this year. I was supposed to leave for Pennsic today but my dad is in the hospital in Cleveland, so I'm not sure when I'll go.

Pennsic has had a Pirate Night for many years now. Like Lyssindra said a bunch of guys from several camps dress up like pirates and walk around, sometimes going into other camps where there are parties going on, and demanding "beer or booty." The host campsite that was "invaded" usually gives them some beer, and they all leave happy, and somewhat drunker than they were before.
