Dittoes, Capt. Morgan: the music is fabulous and feeds the high energy and excitement that makes the days go pretty fast. Tartan Terrors were great in the one little number I saw them do at Sunday Pub Sing. Sorry I couldn't get to Rennaisance Man; even his website is interesting. Hack & Slash are cute and funny.
Thanks to our wandering minstrel for tarrying in my garden Sunday afternoon and delighting us with funny songs. I love those impromptu soirets that often occur at Black Ox Cottage.

the chess match was good. Listened to the Rouges a bit. Love emuzieki but can't sit through it. gotta get up and stand in the back where I can move.... Broon was funny even with the cast. saw his show twice. Hack and Slash funny as ever Dragon Tales - one big commerical Already mentioned my feelings on the joust. ditto what trevor said about the battons. not too happy about what replaced sword school... I tend to listen to the musical groups at pub sing and all were good. I especially liked the closure in the cast with the wedding and all. we've needed something like that for a long time. The Midsummer's Nights dream by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival was awesome. and very well done. Will go back to see MacBeth. Fool Hearty is good for the kids. I've noticed that there are ALOT of music groups and only a handful of comedy/sword fighting etc. But the ones we do have are excellent. I am looking forward to seeing the Tartan Terrors during Celtic weekend.

The Midsummer's Nights dream by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival was awesome. and very well done. Will go back to see MacBeth. If I remember correctly, you have missed MacBeth. They change it up next weekend. I was talking with one of the actors and he said starting Celtic weekend, Midsummer's will only be playing at 3:30 and they have a new show for the other times. I did get to see MacBeth and I loved it. They did a great job. I have not seen Midsummer's and plan on going next weekend,

People are forever telling my fellow Goddess' and I how lucky we are to be so near a main stage. " You get to hear all the shows..." Yeah. Well. Few drawbacks to that. Even when it's a GOOD show, 97 repatitions can get REALLY irritating after a while! And when it's NOT...............well, let's just say it's a good thing I'm a civilized Goddess! One of these days, someone is going to mangle one old standard once too often, or repeat the same lame joke, (or worst of all, steal some other act's line!!!) and the Goddess is gonna go postal! That having been said ( I feel SOOOOOO much better now....) you'll all appreciate just how much WE appreciated the Tartan Terrors this past weekend! Fresh, funny, phenomenonally talented, AND EACH SHOW WAS DIFFRENT!!!! Yaaayyyyy! Can't wait til' next week to enjoy them again. ;D Oh, and just in case any of the Terrors might be reading this...the theme from 'Stargate' on the pipes. Think about it! ;D ;D ;D

The tartan terrors were very good. I understand their group is different than it once was, but it still is great fun. Silent Lion is delivering their usual excellence E Muzeki is a nice departure from the norm and quite lively Maidens IV are simply fun Joust...excellent Johny Pheonix...good as always Axel the sot amuses with his own brand of humor Ren Man - Only guy I haven't liked so far. He harrasses the crowd, but when the crowd returns the favor he starts whining about 'heckling,' even after he started it. Tinkers will make you laugh Dragon is an awesome thing for kids Pooka...we all love pooka Cast...fairly decent this year, though not quite as open to letting patrons they know dance with them. Pity. Scotsman...just cool Belly dancers were good And so many others are awesome. Will probably add more as I see more.

i'm a bit of a rabid-fangirl for Tartan Terrors...luckily i'm in character all day so i get to say 'ello dahling...' whenever i see them...yay.
and personally, i <3 the pubsing hardcore this year, i mean, i pulled some random guys who don't know how to dance from the benches and MADE them dance. I'm proud of mehself. They actually DANCED also, which was unexpected, but i've gotten to see Terrors, a bit of E Muzeki whom i LOVE, but they seem like they're off in thier own little world and aren't very approachabke, which is sad. I LOVE Gibbon! and Axel as always. Haven't seen wenches yet, but i've gotten to play with them a bit and they are teh awesomeness incarnate.

Just remembered something.
Anyone else notice that Maidens IV were like all over the shire this past weekend? Was nice to see them seeming to get a bit more comfortable in our little home away from home. Heck, I even saw them playing a tune for the guy who does the crow's nest ride! That that was pretty awesome.

If you haven't checked out the Shakespeare troupe yet, you should.
They are still going to do Macbeth. They switched around the times. Mid Summer Nights Dream will be playing once a day at 3:30 and Macbeth will be played twice a day.
They are really good. There are only 5 (I think) actors to play all the parts and they do a wonderful job. Mid Summer is so funny.
