I think the cast is superb this season, and busy engaging people in smaller more one-on-one ways. I love when any cast come to or past my cottage and we chat or make a joke. I'm delighted that I've seen so many of you and know that some of you come early while I'm out with the oxcart.

Ok, thanks Jinxy. That explains what I saw going on at pub sing then. My guess was pretty close, but getting the rest of the pieces makes it more interesting.

in all actuality jinxy got so wooed that she thought that Scarlet was the PRIZE and no one could talk her out of it. Not even a high-speed boat chase. <3

This is the first year that I have really gotten to see a lot of the cast. In the past I have only gone for a couple of hours. The best thing I encountered with the cast happened on Sunday. I have a slight crush on Peter. When I walked past him when he was standing on a pillar by the Drift Inn Pub (I'm pretty sure it's the Drift Inn), he had me be his harald. It was really fun standing in the lane and yelling praises of Peter, the amazing flute player! I also saw a lot of the cast members dancing with many guests.

Almost forgot to mention the one I saw on Saturday. Some of the tinkers and Pooka throwing themselves on the ground, so Prince John would not have to walk on the dirt in front of tinkers camp.

reminds me of when early in the day on sunday, the tinkers made a throne for prince john and then stole his sceptor, and later on in the day when he got it back the tinkers made a moving path for him to walk on

Prince Robin was fun.
Smee had stolen the scepter when everyone was dancing, and then gave it to Robin Hood, who declared himself Prince Robin (rolling his "r" whenever he talked) and referred to the scepter as "The Bobbly". So, first he promoted Smee and Highywayman to the positions of Royal Guards, then he made a Royal Decree (rolled r) saying that everyone is equal and there shall be no more bowing, then he promoted Captain Ward to General Ward, and then he sat on the throne with Marion and acted like a prince. He also sent Smee on a quest to go find the John formerly known as Prince. It was funny.

Heather the Pooka as a noble had Prince John in the stockade and had taken his crown and scepter. And Robin Hood actually ws defending him and let him go "so he had someone to make fun of and save people from" about 1/2 hour before pubsing on the final day of the faire.

Actually it was closer to 5. Just before Johnny's final show. And it was the peasants that got the prince in the stocks. Thanks to an interesting game of blind man's bluff. The lead the prince from town square up to the stocks and tricked him into them.
I'm not sure if Heather was playing Grace or Faith final day. But she just happened by. The prince beckoned her over to save him. She in turn decided she wanted to wear the crown, and the stocks were a good place for the prince. That is when Robin came by.
You are right, it really was an awesome bit. Seeing Robin defending the prince and chastising the peasants for what they had done.

He didn't mention that to me when we talked later that night. Must not have been too big a deal. Knowing him, I am sure he difused the situation and probably managed to turn it into some kind of bit. He is that good.
