There is one on Main Ave. in Ashtabula. I see it every morning when i go to the post office to pick up our company mail. There is usually one on Rt. 20 between Ashtabula and Geneva, but I haven't driven down that way recently so I don't know if there's one there this year or not.

Saw another billboard on Rt 20 right as you're heading into Painesville city, on the east side.

Hack and Slash were on 98.9 last night for an interview. And the ads for it were played every commercial break.

A good showing from the cast and a couple of tinkers were on Fox 8 live this morning, doing silly things intermittently for about 2 hours.

SO! Did anyone besides myself get a postcard in yesterdays (7-10-07) mail announcing that the GLMF was about to begin? Gee, it was nice of em to send it out after you MISSED the whole opening weekend!! Combine that with the NO programs for opening weekend and ya gotta ask yourself, who the hell are they using, the GUTENBERG printing company?
Yeah, I know we are reliving the Middle Ages, but that doesn't mean you have an army of monks hand lettering this stuff.
HANK.

Come to think about it..No,,usually have mine 1-2 weeks prior to opening!
BTW, Im very disappointed that posters/flyers were not in, like the usual time limit..mayhaps 1-2 weeks prior.
Who ever was in charge of printing this year, was poorly done. hell, I'd even volunteered to have done it!

I don't know the story behind the print issues, but I know from experience that "stuff happens" in the printing world, so let's all give 'em a break.
Question for Hack - any way of getting a listing on here of who's appearing where and when? We could spread the word to be watching and listening! Had I known our folks were on Fox8 this morning, which I usually watch, I'd have definitely told everyone to tune in!

That was a nice little article. The only flaw in the article that I saw was:::
JENNY O'CONNOR of the band Emuzen, from San Antonio, plays the melody 'Kiss' on her violin during the medieval faire. DANIEL KRAUS / The Star Beacon
They spelled E Muzeki wrong.

Actually, that is quite good for the Star Beacon. Only one mispelling in an entire article.
