Looks like GLMF will not get Owain for a full run after all...was hoping with the regime change, Owain might give us a full run. This is from his website. Certainly hope it is not set in stone. Colorado Renaissance Festival Larkspur, Colorado June 9 & 10, 16 & 17, 23 & 24, June 30 & July 1 July 7 & 8, 14 & 15, 21 & 22, 28 & 29 If he does come, we only get two weeks of Owain....<censored>! GLMF has always needed more musicians on the stages and in the lanes. This doesn't help. *sigh* I would really like to see Emuzeki come to GLMF. They would be a great fit for the faire.

I am glad we get Owain for a couple of weekends. It is better than none. As I have only been to Faire for a couple of years and could not always make Pub Sing....Who does "Health to the Company" if Owain is not there? Just wondering. Cheers, Kat

Kat...As that is kinda Owain's signature song no one else performs it at Faire. Though Axle did a very nice rendition of it this past Saturday at the Sandy Chanty, as part of his act.
We have closed pub sing with a song by Silent Lion, which for the life of me I can't think of at the moment. It's four AM, gimme a break! I'm sure someone remembers the song and can post the title, if not all of the lyrics. One of the verses is "We might be a friend" or something like that.
I'm goin' back to bed...G'night all. HANK.

Health to the Company is Owen's song- there IS NO ONE that does it like he.
No one...I miss him when he is not there--oh well..things we have no control of are to be left to those that do.

He does do it very well. The Faire in California had a man that also was very good with Health to The Company. I guess I can understand how it would be "Owen's" song. No one else sang it when the singer in California was out.
I just really like the song and wish we could sing it each weekend. At least once.

THE GAMER'S SONG! ;D "And everywhere we go we'll have the best of times And everyone we meet might be our friend And everything we do gives us more piece of mind As we play the game to the end We play the game to the end"

Thanks! The only problem with that song is they don't play it loud enough. In the back of the pub area you can't even hear it.

Yes that can be a problem esp with a large group. What about putting speakers there?
