I have felt for some time that there are questions that need asked. I, Master Turk, master of bloviating, will present one question each week.
It will be your duty, desire, and addiction to find out the answer or speculate and present it here.
Do enjoy....... ;D

There are some things we avoid eating at certain times to prevent us from "gassing" our friend out on say, a long road trip, or when many of your friends are with you all day. Question: What do dolphins eat to prevent them from getting gas??

OK wiseguy, here is my SPECULATION on the question at hand. I don't think Dolphins give a diddly damn if they fart or not. The gas would be trapped in bubbles which would rise to the surface and disperse into the atmosphere, thus not bothering their fellow Dolphins as they swim along. HANK.

Ah. But Hank. If they have too much gas, they won't be able to stay under water. So not getting too gassy would be in their best interests.

I think the dolphin waits to "fart" until it can go up for air and "farts" through its' blow hole, so the other animals can't smell it. They stay away from green see urchins. Everyone knows that greens give you gas. (broccoli)
Besides, dolphins eat fish. How gassy is fish?.

It figures... I haven't posted for quite awhile................ and I show up in a discussion on "Dolphin farting." Master Turk, I was all ready to help answer your question.....but then I remembered, dolphins are mammals. In herrings, which are fish, it's not fart but..........frt, Fast Repetitive Tick, which is air being forced from the fishes swim bladder out of the anus that produces a "rasberry sound." Some researchers think this is a form of communication. Allyn
P.S. Hello everyone! Miss you all!

Why Allyn!!! A most studious thought! But alas, (no pun intended, either word ;D ), they are mammals.
Although this may be answered with humor as well. Truth is not required.....
Any more thoughts???

Just another thought on the subject. This is in reply to Sir Trevor's #3 reply. It just may be that they do build up too much gas as you often see them jumping out of the water as they swim along. Might this be the time that they expel flatulence into the atmosphere? Thus they are able to again remain underwater untill such a time as the pressure inside them once agains builds up to a point where they must surface and "jump" Hmmmm.
You no doubt know I've been hit upside the head by one to many snow flakes thus causing brain damage. Could explain a lot. HANK.

NEW QUESTION!!!
Why do police in ohio pull over the new car with the burned out headlamp and ignore the vehicle with no bumpers, a flashlight for a headlight, body almost completely rusted off, doors held on by the broken windows, 3 bad tires and one rim scraping the road surface, and obviously in need of being condemed since 1974??
Your thoughts??

Because the new car with the burned out headlight will actually have enough money to pay the fine.

O'boy!!! This question was just made for me as I is a world renown ex-e-pert on car stuff. First off, don't you be a pickin on these 20 year old rust buckets as I own half of them.
The reason they stop the NEW car with the burnt out headlight is cuz if you can afford a NEW car these days you are probably selling drugs to pay for it so they can make a drug bust and confiscate all your loot.
As for the old rust bucket, well this poor schmuck ain't got a pot to pee in so he can't pay the fine anyway and you will then have to put him in jail and feed his butt for the next 30 days or so. Bad idea.
The law in Ohio concerning headlights states you MUST have a light visible from 500 feet away. Now if you have a really bright flashlight strapped to your fender and you walk 500 feet from it you can still see it. Never mind you can't see crap from INSIDE the car. How do I know this? Once upon a time I used a flashlight for a headlight on my motorcycle. For about a week till I could fix the original headlight.
Bumpers. Who the hell needs bumpers anymore anyway? They are nothing but a piece of plastic and won't do crap if you hit anything but shatter. Bumpers are just for "looks" anymore.
And if the state has a problem with rust, well, quit salting the hell out of the roads and making cars out of the cheapest steel you can find and you won't have a rust problem. I notice PA. does not seem to do crap with their roads. Bunnie and I journeyed to Jamestown PA. last Monday, and while the roads in Ohio were clear down to the pavement as soon as we hit the state line it looked as if PA. had not plowed all winter.
As for the falling off doors. Hell! Weld 'em shut and climb in thru the window like the Duke boys. solves that problem.
Now then, Master Turk, when are YOU going to post a FIVE letter word, since you started that idea? HANK.

Hmm, Master Turk, I think like most things, the answer to this question would depend on your perspective (along with other things, lol). See, we usually have older model cars, thankfully, not as bad off as the one you described. We get pulled over ALL of the time, for the most ridiculous, bogus things. I was even 'pulled over' once in my own driveway, and accused of trying to flee and allude the police.
And, no, I'm a very good driver, so that's not it. Not only don't we get tickets (thank goodness) but what we're pulled over for isn't usually even true, like a headlight that's out when it's really just dim, or a license plate light that's out. This is a particular favorite. Perhaps once, in say maybe 20 times was it ever really out. We found out there was a short in the wire.
So, my perspective is exactly opposite to the one stated in your question. Not trying to be difficult, just give a different side of things. I do like the new car, more money to pay a fine theory though!! Sounds like a very good possibility!

Hey Mickey, I love the license plate light thing. Bunnie got stopped for that a couple of times. Cop claims he couldn't see the plate. Why is that idiot, don't the damn headlights on your cruiser work?
Next time that happens I'm gonna wax that plate up to a mirror finish and install a 50,000 candlepower halogen on it. I'll make that sucker so bright it will hurt your eyes to look at it. HANK.
I think the police stop you cuz they suspect you have donuts in the car!
