I remember that year...and that theme...I wished I had been a season pass member back then.
Yes...those were the glory years of GLMF....what once was, shall never be again...

I want to thank everyone for reminding me of some wonderful favorite moments at past pub sings. I know that each one I was able to witness first hand and now read again has brought back many fond memories.
Speaking for myself though, can we at least keep the negativity out of this thread of favorite times and memories?
I can easily avoid the other posts that so obviously refuse to let go and put any faith in people such as myself who are still working their asses off to make this faire a place for people to come and enjoy themselves, but I like to come to threads like this for smiles and laughter.
And to that end:
Johnny Phoenix and Manolette performing the tongue transfer. Merlin appearing in the final pub sing of just last year. The cannon being fire from the main food court that same evening. Zoltan and The Moose Song. Owain singing Health To The Company. Every final pub sing I've attended. The last one of the season always brings out tears. Spencer performing his gravedigger book bit. I wish I remembered that whole thing. Pester joining in with "and bangs me!" (If you were there, you'll remember.)
Take those home, chew 'em up and smile/laugh at the beauty of faire.

Pester joining in with "and bangs me!" (If you were there, you'll remember.) I laughed so hard it hurt when that happened.
