Just thought we should inform you all that there is no roller coaster never was. Sorry!!!! Although it would be fun. We are curious as to where in the world you dreamed this idea up at and how you saw it here when it doesn't exist. If it did it would take weeks to disassemble and to rebuild it into our park. Next time if you're curious just call the office and ask. We will inform you as to what is going on to the best of our knowledge.
Sorry to disappoint you all.

I sure wish you guys wouldn't start rumors. Especially ones that are absolutely un-true!!! Take the time to get facts straight before you post something upsurd and UN-TRUE!!! The roller coaster was NOT bought by the festival. Your silly rumors do nothing to help the festival. Please knock it off. I'm surprised at you Bunny and Hank.

HA! Actually - a rather funny joke. Guess the YOLK's on me! But a good point to remember here is that sarcasm does NOT come through on black and white or in any sort of writing, and, if somebody is not reading through these posts completely (as obviously I was NOT doing - shame on me!) that's how things become misconstrued! OK - I'm just slinking back to my Oak grove again. I'm much better off there! I just figured I had been out of pocket for so long I'd log on and try to catch up on a few things...now I think I'll just wait to be "surprised."! See you all in a couple of weeks!

Larry did purchase several items from Geauga lake (like the fabulous fountain and other decor items), and has made several improvements to enhance the children's area as well. Sorry to report Capt. still no roof over the pub. The bright side is, when it rains we get to cuddle...oops I mean huddle.

First of all, the article states that they only purchased decorations, no roller coasters.
Second, I do not appreciate crap like this in the faire section. You want to play games, we have a general board for that. I've already gotten like 20 PMs and I don't know how many emails asking me about this. I don't have time to deal with this crap, and even if I did have the time, it's not really high on my list of things I want to do with what little spare time I do have. While it may seem funny to some, it isn't funny when I have to go to several other boards to do damage control because this rumor has already started to spread around the net. And I doubt the office staff are enjoying the phone calls about it..
This area is to promote the faire and to pass along information for others to use. Not to spread false information, start rumors and get people up in arms.

OK, In order to give poor Trevor some Peace of mind I guess I should step in here and tell you all IT WAS A JOKE! How in the hell could you ever believe something so preposterous could ever be true? Did not the fact that I stated we would have patrons jumping out of a moving roller coaster(they go about 70 or 80 MPH) onto mats sound, oh I don't know, just a little bit absurd, not to mention slightly dangerous?!?! I have to ask; if you believe any of that nonsense, do you also believe that MAD magazine is a factual news report? SO!! if you don't believe this. As Maxwell Smart would say: Would you believe Elvis Presley and the Beatles will be performing at the Stumble Inn? And George Carlin will headline the Drift Inn Stage? NOW THEN: Let me add this disclaimer for those of you too dumb to get it: THEY'RE NOT COMING! THEY'RE DEAD. And to Trevor: I do apologize for all the commotion, but when you brought up the thread about Larry buying a bunch of stuff at Geauga Lake my li'l warped mind kicked into overdrive Sorry about that. HANK.

And George Carlin will headline the Drift Inn Stage? *sigh* Isn't Scott just a wonderful Entertainment Director? Look at all the wonderful acts he signed on! ;D Hank, you're too funny!!!! I heard about this when I got home last night, and we were laughing, we both knew it just had to be a joke!

huzah Hank !! NICE JOKE Most of us probably understands that there was no way a roller coaster could even be put up in that shart of time . takes the pros at building them a couple years and alot of safety issues. I think i have better chance of asking Heff if we can borrow his bunnies to have them stand in lanes giving directions and introducing the acts than a roller coaster .

huzah Hank !! NICE JOKE Most of us probably understands that there was no way a roller coaster could even be put up in that shart of time . takes the pros at building them a couple years and alot of safety issues. But for the layman, it is completely plausible. They see these things go up for carnivals in less than a day. Then come back down in less than a day as well. As far as they know, it's completely do-able. As for the rest of the comments giving away that it was a joke. Many only got far enough to see the part about the coaster, got mad, and quit reading. You have to realize there are a lot more people reading what is written here, than just the regulars. We get a lot of views every day from people just looking for news and information, whe don't ever post, or care to actually become involved in the board. They don't know the people here. All they know is that they see Hank posting a lot about the site-cleanup and all the things being done with that. So when he makes a post like he did, they think it is true. He is involved with fixing things up, and building things at the fiare. So why would they think otherwise? Enough about this non-sense. Lets talk about the good stuff. The postive buzz this article will help add for those who might have been on the fence about coming to faire. Or better yet, those who had never even considered coming, who might now just to see some of the stuff they have fond memories of from Geauga Lake.
