Was thinking about this the other day after a DJ mentioned something along these lines.
What musical groups are named after animals?
Some that come to mind for me are Ratt Scorpions (not technically an animal, but it is a living critter, so close enough) Zebra
Anyone else think of any off the top of their head?

Ooo! Nice list there. I should have thought of at least several of those. I blame it on working 14 hour days and not getting enough to eat

And probably add some lack of sleep to that list, too if you're working 14 hour days! ooh - Thought of another: Blue Oyster Cult And one more: Porcupine Tree

-Steppenwolf (well, the band named themselves after a Herman Hesse novel, but Steppenwolf is German for "desert dog") -Great White (as in shark) -Whitesnake -Def Leppard
(I'm quitting now, before I divulge anymore of my questionable taste in music....)
