Bah, in England they cook food all same, boiled. Have eggs? Boil them. Greens? Boiled. Meat? Now you are getting it - boiled, too. It gets better, wait - Englishman also boils bread. Why? I don't know, I am gypsy, not Englishman. Even English like drink beer warm. Yccchh.
Ice cold Vodka with bit of green leaf in it.
English food is boring. Italian food can be exciting. French food? Well, if you can tell what you are eating . . . German food? Kielbasa, kraut, schnitzel - is all good. Polish - same as Russia with different names.
Chinese making OK food. It is all same, though, with different spicy levels. And rice or noodles. Only difference is type of meat. Beef, Pork, Chicken, Duck.
Whatever. Is all food to me. It fills belly.

But I thought the poles also love warm beer at least the ones that I was around.

Wow...just saw that KCRF has an On Line SURVEY to find out more about THEIR PATRONS.... Think GLMF would ever consider doing something like that? I mean...actually try to find out more about their Patron base? How...innovative.... www.kcrenfest.com/survey.htm

Updated June 2.
And FYI, we've done patron exit surveys at the front gate every year since our beginnings.

*slightly worried tone in voice* I notice, or rather, I don't notice the mention of Owain Phyfe and Michael Manderen... *whimper*

They wouldn't be on this list. This is just for the themed weekends.

FWIW they are listed on the GLMF site as performers. Though they still have the link up for Isaac as well

I have signed up for the newsletter/mailing list at the front gate before - and not gotten anything in the mail, but I don't remember a survey for whether or not I enjoyed my experience or had any suggestions. Where is this survey booth located?

Where is this survey booth located? What survey booth? They got rid of that a couple years ago.

Well, as to surveys, Brook, you all know I come and go several times a day to the car, and in all the years I've never seen an "exit survey." I know there have been cards for the mailing list at a booth, sometimes visible, often not, sometimes manned, often not, and if a patron isn't interested in the mailing list they're not going to notice that there's a spot for comments on the card. I've never seen anyone doing an actual survey, live, but I'm not saying that didn't happen. I know other means were used once last fall, to obtain information, on a very limited basis. I think a very noticible, well signed, welcoming booth or tent with actual survey forms in the front "lobby" would be very useful to TPTB.
