I just might carry a camelbak in a bag with me just in case my wine bag full of water isn't enough.

Yet another reminder, if you don't see it elsewhere........the Pickle Goddess and crew have plenty of FREE cold drinks for cast and crew, AND we keep on hand nice, icy cold bottles of water with a bit of witch hazel added for spritzing! ( And for those more intrepid souls, lots of ice for stuffing down bodices! ;D Hey, trust me, it DEFFINATLY helps get 'cha through the day!!!)

So come on over, introduce yourself, and ask to try the damned lemonade! ;D I'd really rather no one keeled over on my watch! I'm not QUITE that big of a bitch. REEEEEEEAAAL CLOSE, but not quite! Seriously tho,the free liquid thing IS pretty much limited to cast, for obvious reasons............mainly the cost, and not to mention the several hours it takes each Friday to MAKE the stuff! So, much as I'd love to, I can't offer it to everyone on the board, etc. But then again, as I'd said, we aren't THAT mean. If you work at Faire in ANY capacity, and/or were among the pre-faire clean up crew, anything like that, you're welcome-just kick in a buck here and there, and we're cool! And if you come over and introduce yourself, reguardless, I'm sure we can manage a wee nip of my infamous vanilla lemonade at least! Just be sure and shower us with praise and effusive complements about our extraordinary beauty, brilliant minds, and really, REALLY cute butts.....er, I mean noses! Yeah, NOSES! Goddess' LIKE that, you know.....................

I think I'll have to bring the small waterguns again this year. They were a very nice fun relief on the couple days I brought them last year.
Perhaps some of us can set up a game with them. <evil grin>

Honestly, if it weren't for the pickle Goddesses, I probably would have lost myself more than once.
Ask Trevor. I was pretty bad off after the Parade last year. The heat of my garb plus that fact I was carrying around an 8 pound wooden sign for thirty minutes did not fair me well.
Hence the birth of me "dying" after parade, and seeing if anyone would clap for me.
...Only thing I usually got was a smack in the butt from Barret.
Make sure to take care of yourselves!!!!!!!

What about "drinking spots" for the dogs and other "furbabies" (and some non-furry) that people bring along to Faire?
A lot of people bring their pets and don't think about bringing water for them.
Will there be designated animal "drinking stops" available for them? It would also be very helpful to have those areas noted on the Maps so people know exactly where they are. I think they had a couple last year, but they were difficult to spot unless you knew exactly where to find them.

The Pickle Grove will have water for all "fur babies". We keep them (there are two dishes, one on either side of the grove) fresh and put ice in them as well. Some patrons have told us their dogs refuse to drink anywhere else. :-) We are also available to "babysit" if you need to go to the privy. All three of us are experienced animal people.
There's also usually an "official" water station by the privies near the Phoenix foodcourt, but they don't change it regularly and it looks pretty nasty by the end of the day.

What she said!!! ;D We Goddess' have had beasty water available for years now, as well as the odd biscuit, and even carrots for Olive's boys. Can you tell we're all animal lovers!? And again, as Jaz said, we love to babysit as well. Gives us a perfect oppourtunity to meet all the 'furbabies'! ( Rowan - one of my 10 cats !!!- tells me here that if I'd just stay home with him, I wouldn't need to see other furballs. I belive he considers that cheating on him!!!)
