Route 534 detour!

Thanks to Bosha for bringing this to my attention.
I guess ODOT in their infinite wisdom could not wait one more week to do some road work on RT 534.
I guess that it is closed between I90 and the faire.
Best route for those not familiar with the area, and/or not comfortable with taking back country roads is
Take RT 528 to RT 166 then over to RT 534 (they meet just south of the faire)
Or RT 45 to RT 166 to RT 534

For those of you entrepid enough to do the back roads.
Take 534 south - turn right onto Cork-Cold Springs Road - go down to Adkins Road and make a left on Adkins - then another left onto Barrett Road - back to 534.

Wow thanks for posting this, else I would have been lost at sea. Stupid ODOT people.

FYI We have spoken to ODOT and they have assured us that the closing is just for wednesday and thursday of this week.

They understand the amount of trafic we generate and have always worked around our schedule.

Good for ODOT- they told my friend who lives right down here by me and the faire that the road was going to be closed for the next 30 days! I wish they could at least get their story straight-

If the road is closed on Friday evening when I come home, I will post it on here so people will know that it is still closed, I sure hope it won't be!!!!

As of Friday afternoon, route 534 is open and all the detour signs have been taken down, so I think it's safe to say that it will be open tomorrow!! Everybody come on down!!!!!!!!!
