I will be there. I made it quite clear to my new employer that there was no way I could work that weekend, as I'd made plans for it MANY months ago.

Also learned that Gilded Lly will be there, so it's gonna be a lot of the GLMF regulars if you look at who all is gonna be there.

Gotta say, it was my first time at an event such as this and I found it a lot of fun. It was good to see a lot of friends from the GLMF there. A lot of folks put a good deal of effort into some of their costumes, even though I had no clue who most of them were suppose to be. Some were pretty obvious, like Superman, and Chewy from Star Wars. But, since I don't play video games and haven't read a comic book in decades I had to say to a lot of folks; "Nice outfit, who the Hell are you?"
But, other than that, I enjoyed it. Especially Scott's comic book collection. A lot of what he had I remember reading as a kid. Brought back a lot of fond memories. Would probably go again next year if they do it again.
HANK.

I had fun. Stayed until 5-ish as I had to get home and pass out candy for Trick-or-Treat. Wish I could have stuck around for the costume contest and other fun.
It was nice visiting, and catching up with so many friends. And the costumes were excellent. Should have seen the guy done up as a zombie later on. He looked really good.
