It would be nice to know what is going on with the tickets. We had one update and then nothing. Does anyone have a contact with the staff?
Everyone has been patient so far but how much longer do we wait before we refute payments with the credit card companies for services not rendered?
I love the faire but this is just poor customer service no matter how you explain it. At least send out an email with an update.

Once again, the GLMF offices are closed for the winter,so every ticket order is processed on online through a specific carrier, when we have have SEVERE problems with that carrier and our webmail it has a trickle down effect on our ability to get the orders out.Wish I could give you some type of time line as to when you will receive your order, but,I cant. I can tell you Cindy and I are working non stop to get orders processed along with the other chores we do to get ready for the 2011 season and you will have have your tickets in time before fair. Also,if you need them immediately, for gifts or whatever, you can email me with your confirmation number, amount and address to bretthall@windstream.net and I will expedite them to the top of the list. You can also email me with any questions you might have. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Brett Hall.

Again, thank you for the update but it still would be nice if the customers that do not read message boards or facebook get an update email. You do not have to give them a timeframe but they do need reassurance that they haven't lost their money.
No matter what business you are in, the customers pay the bills. They deserve a little respect and information.

No, all ticket concerns need to be handled through the office Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm not on the weekends. Beth is on top of things now and is the only one who should be taken care of these issues.
Thanks, Cindy

Hi Folks, there is some confusion about orders. We based our processing on a total amount that we acquired from the credit card companies this year, youre orginal orders were lost due to our system crashing. what you receive reflects that amount that you spent. Beth is now in the office and they are open,so if you received wrong tickets, please call.On another note,Nyneve of the Oaks,it is impossible for you to have received 4 adult tickets($48.) for 4 Season passes($181.), your negativety towards our owner and our faire staff in your previous posts is not needed or welcomed,Larry goes above and beyond to keep our faire family alive. Thank You Brett.

Well said Brett, So tired of reading the negativity that goes on here. I actually try to steer people away from this board because of it. I think I speak for many when I say I know and appreciate all that Larry does for the faire and realize that he does go through and put up with a lot from many. The bad negativity only feeds those that were otherwise not to concerned. I know I would rather wait for my tickets than not have a fair at all. As long as I get my tickets before faire starts thats all I care about. Nothing more. I would call if it got closer to opening and I didn't have them. No biggie to me otherwise. I'm sure others want them for gifts which for them, I understand, but again I personally don't mind waiting as long as we get to have our wonderful faire. Huzzah to Larry and staff for all that they go through each year and the people they have to deal with. Brett some only like to complain they are only happy being miserable and making other people miserable.

Thank You Brett. Brett, Do you DARE accuse me of lying and falsifying the information that I received tickets in lieu of season passes?? And are you kidding me?? My negativity toward the Faire and Larry??? If you take constructive criticism about the customer service of the office as being negative, well, then I guess there is nothing I can do about it. As for the Faire itself, I've had naught but wonderful things to say about it and how much I love it. Sir Constantine and I have been advocates of GLMF for YEARS, and I personally have been a patron since its beginning and will continue to be, although very frankly your response to me, dear sir, initally elicited a much different reaction from me! I'm quite certain Larry would be beside himself if he were to read your harsh and incredibly unprofessional response to me which, frankly, is nothing less than accusatory and libelous toward my good name. Frankly, sir, your sort of response is exactly what I'm talking about when I make mention of the needed improvement in the area of Customer Service. How nice that you accuse your patrons and customers of lying? Yes, that's the way to treat those who support you and have supported you all these years. ...And you can bet your sweet arse that when I speak with Larry this year I will let him know just how his staff treat his longtime patrons. In fact, I just may not wait until Faire to contact him. I, in fact, spoke with Beth on the phone late last week, at which time I was told I should return the tickets to the office and then my passes would be sent to me upon their receipt. And so I will be returning my Tickets that WERE mistakenly sent to me instead of the season passes that were ordered. Along with my original emails showing and confirming my purchase dates and amounts. And since the tenor of your personal response to me has now shown me the nature of yourself and perhaps others in the office, I will certainly be sending them via Certified Mail, Return Receipt requested, and expect to receive my passes in a VERY TIMELY fashion. Respectfully, Nyneve
