Starting the thread now. Since I won't have anything to post about tomorrow. We won't be there Saturday  Thanks to auto issues all week, I have a ton of stuff to catch up on around the house. We were only going to be there half the day anyway, as Brit has a birthday party to attend as well. So, try to save some fun for us on Sunday, ok. |

We came at 12:00 and the 2 far parking lots were already filling up. That's excellent attendance   ! ( We DO LOVE to be Pirates  !!! )... I met some wonderful folks outside the souvenier booth who were a little bummed  about "dry Faire" this year. One of the highlights of the day was talking to First Mate Jack Fletcher of The Lake Erie Pirates about historical piracy... FASINATING STUFF  !!! I'm going to make myself a pair of period buckle shoes out of an old pair of boots !!! Can't wait to get started !!! I spent a while eating lunch ( Oooo !!! Those huge, delicious Onion Rings !!!   ) and talking with Crash. And, hungout at The Black Ox. It was a day for conversations  ... Great Sing at the End of The Day ! Lots of participation and a lively crowd !... See you there---TODAY !!!... ---Love  , The Comtesse Suz. |

Well, we only got to experience one day this past weekend, but man, what a day. It started off awesomely, by running into Mitch and Patti at opening gate! Then I got to see Peach all dolled up and looking girly  The Burlap Brothers were there. As well as a return of some of our very own pirates from years past. The weather was good, a little on the warm side but very tollerable. Got to spend a lot of time visiting with people we normally don't get to talk with usually. Was sore from laughing so hard after seeing the Slash and Broon show again. Another excellent day at faire. The crowd was large, and seemed to be in great spirits. Saw lots of playfull people getting sucked into cast bits, and enjoying stage shows. |
