 , Greetings all, there are many who are new to GLMF and many who are welcomed regulars. I thought it might be fun to have everyone write a lil on who they play either as cast or playtron. It's almost faire...so let's get this thing rolling! I'll start... My name is Sir Michael of Mentor: I am a Knight Commander in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Which is one of the military order of knights which is still under the Holy See in Rome. I was born into the noble family of Mentor entered the knighthood as a squire, and was knighted by King Baldwin. After the 1st crusade was lost and the Kingdom of Jerusalem fell into the hands of Saladin, King Richard the 1st tried to regain Jerusalem but was defeted at Acre. I was made a Kinght Commander by King Richard and given the land around Mentor as a reward to which I have lived. I continued to train fellow knights in the age old art of war. Then about 10 years ago, I was approached by the King of Fayetteville and asked go on a quest to escort the Princess Emma of Fayetteville and be her protector. I have taken on this cursade and travel with the Princess as well as the Lady Joanne, Duchess of Mentor, the Princess's Nana. Princess Emma who is now 10 years old likes to visit Avaloch and the Great Lakes Medieval Faire each and every summer. She loves to also visit her friends at the GLMF fae since she is half fairy as well. Tinker Belle is one of her BFF as is Fairy Godmother Crash. OK, that's my story what yours? Sir Michael of Mentor

I am known as Pirate Dave, I am Captain Malachi "Maddog" McRea, I am captain of the Nightshade and RNS (Raiders of the North Shore). We are in Avoloch to have fun while we are careening our ship. My Quartermaster is Alicia Hernandez, my better half. We welcome all to come to our encampment and enjoy our hospitality (we will have water and food).

Templar Knight, also Order of the Serpent, wannabe jouster, magician, snake handler, wanderer. Found myself mysteriously in Avaloch several summers ago. I was trained by Avaloch's own Sword School.

P.S. Captain Malachi "Maddog" McRea.....And the crew of the "Nightshade" got room onboard again for a wayward knight?

I be Tullia Arabee, ship's doctor o' ta brigantine Nightshade, which be carreened at ta moment since we be scrapin' ta barnacles off 'er hull ! ( We needs our ship ta' be as swift as possible an' t'ose lil' sea suckers DO slow 'er down ! ) Anyways, ta' crew, Raiders O' Ta North Shore, has t'er pirate encampment at GLMF ! Come ta see us ! We seeks ta' educate as well as entertain ye ! But, me : I be born in Romania, in a part o' it t'at be called Wallachia. Me family be o' ta gypsies an' owned by ta' Lord Dorias Enescu. Sad ta' say,---they be 'is slaves !... Well, one night a stranger came ta' our gypsy camp. He be a 'andsome Irishman, Patrick Arabee, a ship's cap'n, carryin' goods fer Lord Enescu. 'Im and me, we ran away ta't night !  Life be good on board Patrick's ship,---then we be boarded by pirates ! I bein' an herb woman, taught so by my mother, I pleaded hard fer me life ! ' T was spared by ta pirate cap'n Malachi " Mad Dog " Mac Ray who supposed I could be makin' a fine ship's doctor... So,---t'at's what I be now ! I sails ta sea wi' me crewmates ! Me life is excitin' and lucrative when we gets t'ose doubloons, pieces o' eight and other booty ! An', pirates be not so bad ta' travel wi' 'ither; they kin be quite charmin' !!!  |
