Okay, everyone, this is your Pickle Goddess here..........and if you're new and don't know what that means, ask around. Steve/Mordred, for one, he'll bring you up to speed.
Anyway, and this is to cast, crew, anyone, I've done my best here to solve this myself and come up short, and I've kind of run out of time and options, so I'm asking for your help. I NEED GARB!!!!!!!! My old gown is absolutely shot, I have one nice new undergown, thanks to Bunnie, but nothing to wear over it, and that is it!. I do NOT have the cash to buy new, not even close. And if something doesn't give, I'm gonna be doing the Faire naked, and trust me, you do NOT want that! ;D
What I'm looking for is one of a couple options. One.....some decent, cheap used garb. HAS to be green, or primarily, dressy ( Goddess, remember! ) and I'm a BIG girl. Two, someone who can sew, and won't charge me a fortune. Don't expect it for free, and I can make payments if need be. I have material, trim, etc. Orignally, Ivy knew someone who could do it, but they had a family crisis and that's not going to be possible now. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
This really is serious. I would hate to have to bow out at the last second, but if something doesn't give, I may not have a choice!
If anyone can help, give me a holler. Here, or PM me. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

THANK YOU so much, but the old gown is beyond repair, I'm afraid. It's made of a material that looks like crushed velvet, but is actually very thin and strechy, and it's just literally worn so thin in so many places that you can actually see thrpugh it. Some rather, ahhh, 'strategic' places too! That type of material really can't be patched, it shows badly and just keeps wearing away from the edges of the patch. ( Obviously, we've tried! )
Thank you again, though, and if I can figure something else out, I will certianly be keeping you in mind!

Hey Dill, I don't know how big of a hurry you're in, or how much cash you have to spare, but this place has garb that is pretty cheap (at least when you think about how much this stuff normally costs). www.garbtheworld.com/index.shtmlYou pick the dress design from those available and then pick you're color and everything. I don't know what their turn around time on an order would be though. Best of luck!
