Well i am getting very bored in my neck of the woods and i already have ideas floating around for a few projects. In short one of them is that i found out that Atlanta Cutlery sells knife making blades, so naturally i want to make a hunting knife, dirk, and a sgian dubh and i want to get a stag handle for them. Does anybody have an idea where to get real antlers for this?

Hey thanks Sue! I even asked an uncle of mine about where to get them and he said "I-90!" he told me that next time he sees one he'll cut off the antlers and i can maybe make the first ever 12 point knife!!

The Log Cabin Shop in Medina sells moose, elk and deer antler sections, they have a catalog and a web site. I've been going there for years for alot of my black powder stuff and they have just about everything anf their prices can't be beat.

With antler there is a specific process I believe that you will need to go through in order to seal the antler so it doesn't crack and fall apart on you in time.
