The next meeting is Sept. 24th at 8pm.
I have contacted the Prosectors office and was informed they are the legal representation of the township, and that we should not be informed to call them. I spoke to Debbie which is Sartini's secretary, she was to be typing up a letter and sending it to the Trustee's to inform them of this. I have asked for a copy of the letter that was sent.
As for records, I had delivered a request at the meeting and I am waiting on them now. The Fiscal Officer has contacted me.
I have brought it up at every meeting, but still we are not getting answers to the questions asked. At the meeting on the 10th, Mr Clay informed me that transient vendor permit questions were done. Mr. McMahon let me speak but no answers were given. We need to continue to ask the questions until we get the answers.
For those of you who do not live in the township, your voice still matters so, please use it. Send letters to the ACLU, the State Auditor, and the papers. Every voice will help.
I will keep you up to date about the next meeting.

Unfortunately due to mechanical problems with my Exploder I was unable to attend last nights meeting, however, a short re-cap of the events goes as follows......... on one hand, the trustees refuse to interperate the meaning of "transient vendor" but they now say that they do not consider doo to door sales people as transient vendors. Anyone else see a continuation of the anti-faire theme?. on a side note, my campaign is quite short on funds, anyone wishing to contribute can E-mail me at firepiper@windstream.net Thanks for all your help and support

If memory serves me correctly, I believe they said in a meeting that they "sat here for 3 days waiting for people to come and fill out the transient vedor registration..........) however the minutes from a meeting indicate that it wasn't sent to the newspaper for release until July 10, (however, an archive search of the Star beacon does not support this as no record was found)Faire opened on July 11, even if there WERE vendors who had intended to register, how were they supposed to know about it? My mental telepathy powers certainly aren't what they used to be, how about yours? They state in the minutes that they notified the prosecutors office as well as Larry but it is not their responsibility to notify people of township rules, regulations or laws, especially those that violate the ORC and are questionable. Unfortunately, there is not 1 county or state agency that has deemed this travisty worthy of stepping in and correcting the problem no matter how much evidence is sent to them. If anyone has not written, called or E-mailed these agencies it must be done now, State Attorney General, State Auditor Office SIU tax fraud division, ACLU, Ashtabula County Auditor to name a few.Write the newspaper, my attempt has met with no success so far but I will keep trying. Keep up the fight
