You all do realize the best and easiest way for us to support the vendors in all this is to just make it easier for them to absorb the costs invovled with this fee.
So go buy something form a vendor this weekend that you normally would have stopped yourself from getting. There has to be something on the grounds you don't have at a booth you like browsing in. So go get yourself that pouch you have been staring at, or the ring, or a new shirt.
And make sure you tell them why you are buying. Because you like seeing their wares and want them back next year.

Perfect! It will have to wait until the following weekend (I will be out of town) but now I have a good reason to get a new kilt.

Thank you for posting this! What a wonderful suggestion! Please do visit merchants and if you can afford to, purchase something...anything so we can return next year. We look forward to seeing you all at EarArt on Fairie Dust Lane! We have the most unique earrings and lovely necklace sets. But even if you only purchase something from our "Tree Dollar Tree", that will help.
I don't know if Mike, or even Ginny know the extent of this situation as we've not discussed it at length, and Lord Mike has been recuperating from a lengthy illness and hospital stay, but I'm sure everything will come to light tomorrow.

Hi there,
We have the handcrafted chain mail booth on Fairy Dust Lane by the Cottage Inn Stage. Sales have been slow this year. Yes,we need your support but also since I am near the stage,I can tell you that many of the seats are empty. If you are an entertainer it is hard to work a near empty audience. Please support all of us!!!!We are in this together darnit. (soapbox time, there are a lot of handcrafted items here, there are also a lot of import items. Support the shops who actually MAKE OUR WARES...and the entertainers who work hard for all.....)
