Trevor, sounds like you had a fun night. Bunnie told me about your F.B. post. My question is, "how the hell did a skunk get into the house at 2:00 AM? Because if the dogs were out in the yard at that hour of the morning how would you even know they got skunked? You're snug in bed and the woofers are outside stinking to high heaven! And if you weather was like ours here last night, you had a couple of wet smelly woofers cuz it rained like crazy here. Maybe you should leave em in the house at night, get more sleep that way.

We have a dog door in the back door. Since the weather is nice we leave the inside door open and they can run in and out as they want. Well, last night they went out and found a skunk, then came running back in the house, up the stairs, and jumped in bed with us. So, I got to get out of bed and give them both a bath, then try to go back to sleep for just over an hour before my alarm went off for work. Needless to say, the door is getting shut when I go to bed now.
It's just another lovely day for this crappy week. Tuesday I had a colonoscopy, (which came back completely clear) So that meant I was on nothing but clear liquids from 5 PM Sunday until I got done at 9 AM Tuesday. That sucked! I really like to eat. Quite often too. I don't eat one large meal, I eat lots of small ones. To top it off, I also couldn't have any Pepsi either.

After seeing the weather report I am rethinking Sat myself. Since this will be my one and only time going this year why be miserable? Plus, I REFUSE to pay those assholes five bucks to get my car stuck in a mud pit.
As for your dog problem: I would most DEFINITELY be closing that dog door at night lest you wake one morning to a house full of racoons.

Yeah, big mistake on my part going out there on Saturday. Caught one show, the tight rope walker on the cottage stage and spent most of the day hiding out in Chris's building (one of the vendors who stays at our place) waiting out the monsoon. Most of the folks who stayed with us have gone on to other places, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Kansas City. Only left with Rick from the Pirate crew and his broken down bus which is now at Midway Chevrolet in Orwell as it has a no start problem which will require a scan tool to determine what is the cause of that. He and I tried troubleshooting it for two days to no avail so we figured Chevy made it, Chevy can fix the damn thing. I hate these computer infested cars, too damn much can go wrong with em that you CAN'T figure out without a lot of VERY EXPENSIVE equipment.

Thankfully the only auto issues I have had was Friday morning I turned the heat on in the car on the way to work and had no heat. Spent the work day running ideas through my head on what the problem could be. Turns out I was low on antifreeze. Not sure why, I haven't checked it since the end of May. But added like 3/4 of a gallon to the system and everything is topped off including the overflow. Antifreeze is getting a little expensive too. 2 Gallons cost me $30. And that was with my discount. According the receipt it was supposed to be $22 a gallon. That is for the uncut yellow stuff for all vehicles.

SO, Trevor, how did you make it thru last night? We lost power at about 12.21AM for about 12 hours plus. Geauga Co. got its ass kicked. Wide spread power outages, trees down everywhere. We ended up eating breakfast in Chesterland as Middlefield was powerless. Bunnie said she got a tornado warning on her phone last night/this morning. I turn my phone OFF when I go to bed ever since I got woke up one time at three in the morning with some damn Amber alert for some missing kid down in Cincinnati, That's the other end of the state for God sakes, what are ya waking me up for? Did ya think I was gonna drive down there and look for him? Fun night to be sure, hope tonight is calmer.

I didn't notice the storm at all since I was asleep. I know the power went out for some period of time as the clocks were blinking. (thank goodness I have battery backup on my alarm clock) Didn't notice much in the way of branches down. I do know stuff was blown all around our backyard when I got home and was checking things out.

I hope you're well stocked up on paint for your model making. That shit is outrageous! I stopped at NAPA in Chardon the other day to get a rattle can of Dupli-Color Chevy Orange paint for a project I am working on. ONE damn can cost me $14.82, What the Hell are they making this stuff from anyway? The previous can I bought (it was a while ago) I paid like $7.00 for, So what the Hell is with a 100 per cent price increase? You can't even fix something yourself cheaply any more.

Oh wow! I just took a look online. You aren't kidding about the price for Dulpicolor. That is ridiculous. I found a few low prices, but they were sellers I never heard of. Big places like Amazon and autoparts places range from like $13-18. I have a couple cans of primer from them that I use for vinyl kits as enamels don't work on vinyl. Most of the time I stick with Rustoleum or Krylon. I prefer Krylon but it's harder to find. Rustoleum is everywhere.
What I really miss is the cheap $2 primer I used to get at K-mart. It was their house brand, so no one else carried it. When they went under, it disappeared. I haven't found any other cheap primers that work as well, and I am almost out of my supply of the Kmart stuff. So I have been starting to airbrush my primers. It's a bit more expensive for a bottle of it, but it last a lot longer as there isn't nearly as much waste.
