Self-explanatory. A positive complement to the "What ticks you off thread?".
Autumn's here (don't be fooled by the calendar!). It's my favourite season!

Being at faire. Finishing a model. Getting rare shows in a trade. Having spending money in my pocket. Spending quality time with my family.

On a deeper level knowing that my friends are happy and content.
On a daily level watching my fat old cat hop across the room like a kangaroo. He always brings a smile to me even when I am down.

First and foremost: My family. Seeing my son's face when he passed his drivers permit test. (Now we wait and see how happy I will be when/if he passes the actual driving test.) When my husband walks through the door after two weeks on the road. When my grandaughters call and I hear, "Hi Grandma Kitty." And lastly: That I know there are people out there that are willing to help a friend/stranger with no questions asked.

Having Mitzie (the prince's hunting dog) snuggle up next to me at night, hearing her yawn, and flop back to sleep. Also in the morning, being woken up by my cat licking my nose.

# 1 for me is my family, and My friend John. Going to faire. all my friends at faire, listening to music, watching birds and animals out my living room window. and watching a really cheesy movie and laughing through it. Knowing that I have touched someones life an possibly made it better for them. There have been so many who have touched mine and made mine better.

What makes me happy? Oh, lots of things: 1...The 3 seasons: Winters almost over/Spring. Road Construction/Summer. It's almost winter/Autumn. That forth season we will consign to the What Ticks me Off column. 2. Sinker... He's "my" cat. Where I am, he has to be also. That includes down in the garage when I am working on a car. Unless I deem it to be too dangerous for him. (Like if I'm draining anti freeze) then he gets locked out. (HE'S not happy about that) 3. A bevy of nubile wench's to tend to my every desire. (hey, nobody said we couldn't fantasize!) 4. Watching those three "doofus" dogs running about the yard playing with each other. They are about as much fun as the proverbial barrel of monkeys 5. the satisfaction one gets from completing a tough task. It may "piss you off " big time when you are in the midst of working on it. But when you do win out, it is like YES!! 6. See number 3. 7. Sharing good times with friends. Even something as simple as sitting around having a beer and talking about...Where ever the conversation goes. 8. My wife...Well, MOST of the time anyway. But sometimes she drives me absolutely crazy. (something I NEVER do to her, you understand!) 9. A warm Summer night, cruising with the top down, on a deserted back road, listening to the sounds of the evening, ( crickets and frogs) while watching a full moon rise. 10. Camping. Sitting around a warm cozy fire, roasting hot dogs and looking up at the stars. So! there ya have a few things that bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart. HANK.

I think I must be a really happy person because much makes me happy. Suffice it to say that the world, though not always a blessing to me, oft amuses me ad I take delight in living every moment.

Though the ladies of Wessex are attractive in their own "way" I must break their hearts and say it is neither one of them. My eyes are focused on one I could only hope to be with. Sir Johnathon
