So, what were your overall impressions of the 2007 season.
I thought it was awesome! The feeling in the air was one of happiness and excitement. There was so much going on, we couldn't take it all in. The entertainment was awesome. The cast was a blast. Got to meet a bunch of great new people and see a lot of old friends.
Only downsides were Mitch retiring, and no time to rat puck.

Well, not much going on in this thread.
I have had some time to think of a few more things to add to this thread. Some more great things about this season. I got to meet the awesome couple known as Fool Hearty. Really great people.
More about the music. Though we didn't have time to stop and take in a lot of the musical acts the way they should be. It was still great to be able to walk by and hear them playing. Slow down and stand for a bit and take in the beauty of the sound. Especially great was hearing Maidens IV in the mornings. Really helped set the mood for the day and get us in the faire state of mind. They were really missed during the one weekend they weren't there. E Muzeki was a real spirit lifter on the other end of the shire as well. As was Silent Lion (who weren't so silent this season with their sound system). Really helped keep things lively throughout the day and were nice book ends to the music in the rest of the shire.
I still haven't managed to turn the caber:( Maybe next year.

Well...I have already noted my criticisms in that thread so now let use focus on what I liked. For the most part I must echo Trevor's thought in his initial post. Overall, I enjoyed the hell out of it! Got to see some "new" acts. The Ren man, and Todd keys to name but a couple. Got to see some "old" acts brought back, such as the The Tartan Terrors, Broon, and Fool Hardy. Two lovelier people you could not know.
Got to meet some of the people who post on this board, such as the very lovely Scarlet, and Geoffrey DeVaney and a couple of others whom I banter with on the board but could not put a face with the name till this year.
Watching the Pirates drink gallons of beer was a hoot. Amazingly none of them fell overboard!
Some "sad" events were the "lose" of Mitch, Brenda, and Wick, who is leaving for Upper Kabukistan (That is what U.K. stands for, no?) to study for a year. One can but wish them well in their new adventures.
Weather was great for the most part...Yeah, we had a couple of "hot" days, but I will take that over mud up to my knees any day.
YEP!!! 2007 was pretty damn good. HANK.

Oh yeah. I forgot a few other things that really caught me off guard this season. First was seeing Leah being all girly and almost downright flirty Nothing wrong with that, just a completely different side to her. The other thing was seeing boys flirt with my daughter Again, nothing wrong with it, just caught me totally by surprise.

Though, the Leah being girly was taken to a whole new level. None of our friends from school seemed to believe it, even the three working the games that saw it...
