Well....I'm not sure you'll ever get me in tights although I do have another idea for an interesting theme. A story based in Andulsia after the Moorish conquest and during the christian 'reconquista.' Any story written in such a period invites a broad range of character from both the christian and medieval world. Belly dancers, for instance, could literally be seen on the same street as christian monks and it would all be truly period. Ok...I'm a weird history buff. Not sure how marketable that would be.

I think that Henry V would be an excellent theme. Think about it - it doesn't have to be the whole story - the first year could just be about the emissary from the Dauphin being humiliated by Harry, the gathering of the army (possibly one chessmatch - a peasant chess match - can be fought between Pistol and Nym over words at the death of Sir Falstaff), and the ultimate discovery of the traitors amidst the liutenants of Harry at a stunt show/chess match and final joust, with sentences handed out at Pub Sing, where Harry gives the announcement that they will sail for France.
Year two is the sacking of Harfluer and the ultimate battle on the Fields of Agincourt. I think it could work really well.
But then, I like Henry V. Especially the speech (we few . . . )

they all sound great...I like the one with the season by season plan...the one with the peasant chess match.
