Just thought of this idea.
A place to post some of the bits you have seen, or participated in. And to mention any recuring themes some of the cast members have going on. That way if you want to interact, you have a subject to broach, if you can't think of something else.
Milkmaid - usually walking around trying to find a way to have her bucket repaired. IF you have seen it, you know why.
The blacksmith and Fanny Little were going around naming everyone. Didn't see too much of that this past weekend, but they will probably still do it if asked.
Tuck - so much going on there, it's great. Usually and conversation dealing with drinking anything will go over well.
The carpenter - ask him about his bridge. And if the sheriff has learned of it and raised his taxes.
When Onyx (black fairy) is there - ask her how she broke her wing.
The sisters (nuns) - accuse someone nearby of being evil or doing the devil's work.
The butcher is always looking for new suggestions of things to chop up and serve.
Isabela (not really cast, but she doesn't know how to be a patron, so she has thrown herself into a role). So many bits going on, it's hard to keep track. But you can always ask to hear one her songs she has made up.
The Spudnik sisters are apparently looking for husbands, but they disdane everyone and everything in the shire. Especially their brother, who seems to be enjoying himself imensly.
The Sheriff and Prince John are just dispicable people. So any comment that might annoy them is always fun.
Faith Moore - she thinks she is all that, but she is nothing more than a servant for Maid Marrion. So she is always going on about how great she is. Play along for a bit, then making some comment about her true social status is lots of fun. Especially when she is associating with the gypsies.
That's just off the top of my head. There are lots of other things going on even deeper if you dig for them. But I'm not saying anything about those. I will leave those to be discovered on their own. (more fun that way)

I have to give kudos to my fellow peasant dancers- during the Noble/Peasant(sp) dancing at 1:00 in the center of the shire in front of Renboots (shameless plug!!)- we decided it was a good idea to mock the noble dances, and it is hilarious, if I do say so myself. Come see and poke fun at the nobles!!!

Unlike Sir Trevor who it seems has caught every cast bit there is but almost no stage shows, I have caught every stage show but almost no cast work. Well not any of the "off stage" work anyway. I have seen the "Merry Men Fight" and the "Chess Match" but that is about all. Do you folks have a "set" time and place where you do your thing, or is it totally random? And if it is random, then how the hell is Trevor everyplace at once to take photos of all that stuff. Me thinks Trevor is doing research into illegal cloning and there are really 12 of him. One possible explanation, Hmmmm! HANK.

Peasant dance schedule, if anyone's interested. Times are approximate; generally we get there a little early, because no one really has watches and we have to ask other people for the hour and estimate. I don't know when noble dances or gypsy dances are.
10:30 - Out by the Maypole
1:00 - Between RenBoots and Sky Chairs (joint noble/peasant dance). Since almost all nobles and peasants are at this dance (and are required to be), no one's anywhere else except Mother Wisdom, gypsies, and fae. Eek?
4:30 - Mudpit
5:30 - Maypole (and sometimes we have a game of blindman's bluff / hoodman's wink afterwards; feel free to join in, it's a lot of fun!)
Gypsies are almost always playing in gypsy camp. Faeries stay in Faerie Forest. Jailers are usually by the jail. (These should be rather obvious.)
Mother Wisdom can generally be found doing wonderful little bits by the Storyteller Tree outside the Joust. She tells stories after each joust (or whenever you ask for one) and has gossip on every single character, and plenty of stories about Avaloch in general. Other characters drop by her area to check up on her, rest, interact, get something to put on sunburn/mosquito bites, or watch her place while she gets food.
The Sheriff and Robin Hood can be found in the Square eating lunch together in odd amusing ways (with Robin in shackles) after Chess Match.
I (butcher) tend to stick to Old World Loop and the town square, with very occasional forays into New World (though I have little reason to go there except for breakfast at Olive's). Debra Mae the vinter tends to remain in Old World as well.
Sketch the artist is usually in the center of town. I've rarely run into him elsewhere.
Alan a Dale tends to frequent New World Loop and the center of town. He also plays for every single peasant dance.
Peter Clef the flautist can be seen playing at every. Single. Dance. Noble and peasant. Everyone pity the poor musician.
I've usually seen most of the Merry Men in New World Loop and the town square. They don't drop by Old World much, for some reason.
Check by First Aid periodically. I'm sure someone will be there at some point in the day.
Everyone else seems to circuit the entire faire site, most times. I could be wrong in this of course, but that's mostly what I've observed.
DEAD TIMES (when there will be few to no cast in the streets):
1:00 - Well, they're in the streets, it's just that they're almost all in one place: between renboots and sky chairs, dancing.
1:40ish - This is when everyone's lining up for parade. Then everyone's in the parade.
- Right after parade, during chess match. Half the cast is at chess match. The other half is half dead from parade. (Believe me, parade can take a lot out of you.) We're told we must be out on the streets during chess match, so you'll see people, but no one has the energy to play much until they catch their breath from parade.
- And of course, during pub sing, everyone's at pub sing.

Penfold's scheduled times:
Morning Maypole Parade
Other than that...
Morning you can typically find me by Fairy Land and Black Ox Cottage getting breakfast. Then a quick trip for incense at Erie Lights by the joust list. After that, but before parade, near the Drift Inn area. Then Parade. Then to Friar Pluck's for food. Then in the Old World loop. Then a bit of wandering until pub sing.
Now that those Rat Puckers are showing up though, this whole schedule is meaningless. Just thought I would post it for the fun of doing so. Besides, T & B already figured me out. They find me whenever that feel like it.

Patty...Thanks for the schedule, now that I know when and where to look for all this stuff I will have to try and catch some of it. It always seems like if you are doing something in Old World I am in New World and vice verse. HANK.

And if it is random, then how the hell is Trevor everyplace at once to take photos of all that stuff. I am everywhere, and I am nowhere ;D Basically I am always moving. If I am sitting, it will be at Olives - where lots of cast walk by Gypsy camp - total insanity there, though there are some slow times Mitch's - when we find the thrones empty Over at Johnny's stage visiting At Artisan to the Knights - visiting, or watching him work his forge Fryer Plucks food area - eating lunch, or trying to motivate a certain rat catcher Other than that, we are pretty much on the move when not at stage shows. Moving between places we sit. So when I see something interesting, I stop and watch. Or if something interesting is about to happen, I am usually given a little notice So I can be there with the camera

Strangely enough, allowing my natural trait of slack seep into Penfold over the years has caused more work for me than I thought it would.
Between people curious about why I'm not running around constantly to people trying to motivate me and the biggest bonus, kids somehow finding me more approachable, it's been hard work to be lazy!
Sometimes at least...other times it's a lovely day to sit and chat and do magic in the shire.

... I have no idea what you're talking about, Trevor. I know how to be a patron, I swear!
Lei/Isabella.
P.S. Yes, I know I have no last name yet. Maybe we should raffle one off?
