Trevor...Just want to bring you up to speed here. NEXT SATURDAY. May 13th. WE WILL NOT BE WORKING FAIRE. Sara, Brook and everyone else will be up in Unionville at a community flea market. So Sara said NOT to come out. Now Sunday (Mom's Day) the cast will have off, but Sara said she would be on site, so anyone who wishes to can come out. Bunnie, Dave and I will be there. John, Tina, Bob and Rhonda WILL NOT. So I don't know what your plans are for that weekend so we may or may not see you.
Today we raised the columns. We had enough man power so we did it like the Marines on Iwo Jima did with the Flag. Went pretty easy, got em all backed filled too.
Raked all the leaf piles from the Tortuga stage to the Elephant. The girls worked ahead of us raking the leaves into piles, while the guys loaded the truck. As Bob stated, raking the leaves into tarps and dumping them into the truck is so much faster then the front end loader. So next week we continue from the Elephant, past the joust field around the mud pit to Johnny"s stage and the leaves are pretty much DONE!! HANK.

Not sure what is going on this coming weekend. Think we might have my mother out to the campground on Saturday for mother's day. (she has to work on Sunday). Which will mean Sunday clean-up of the camper and then home for my afternoon nap before working Sunday night.
Sounds like you got a lot done. I will have to get out there the weekend of the 20th. To lend a hand and see how things are going. As we won't be around the weekend of the 27th.

Today we had a small crew. Sara, Dave, Adam, Bunnie, Lady Catherine, and myself. We did not do leaves as they were wet and heavy and we did not have the manpower to hoist them up into the truck. A lot of what Sara wanted to do we were unable to do as Sara locked her keys and thus the tools in her car. OOPS! She didn't like our idea of "it's only a Ford, throw a rock thru the window" We had one battery operated drill with a half dead battery and a good battery from another make of drill that kinda, sorta, maybe fit, somewhat. It would power the drill but not latch into place, so you had to hold the drill with one hand and the battery with your other. And with this we built a log cabin in Farie land. Not kidding. You'll see for yourself next week. Concidering all the doom and gloom the weatherman predicted it wasn't bad. we had a "heavy" drizzle that lasted about a minute, along with some thunder, and that was about it. mostly it was just a bit chilly and gloomy. When we left Sara was headed down to Georges to call hubby and have him bring the spare car keys. These new cars (hers is a 2005 Focus) are a pain in the ass! if you close your doors they lock automatically. So make sure your keys are in your pocket or you're in deep doodoo! Right now 4:40 PM it is raining pretty darn good, so it's a good thing we wraped it up when we did. See yas all next week. HANK.

We will be up Saturday afternoon. We want to get out an help, but I still have a ton of stuff to get caught up on around here. The extra hours I am spending working are really cutting into my household time. It's been over a week since I've had a chance to mow the yard
