Hey All!!
Heres an update on the negotiations for the sword school being at the GLMF.
We are close to an agreement which is great. Pretty much the only consideration to be decided is location. As you already know I am wishing to teach on the concrete pad. Many of you have requested not teaching in a swamp because of all the moving around, standing, kneeling, and circling and thats the best option. If we can iron that out we will be there for 2005!
Brook has been very amicable and things have gone very well. I understand that Larry must ok the location so keep your fingers crossed.
Steve

Good day to all. Sword School will be a part of the GLMF this year. We will teach at the Shakespeare Stage ( which will be gone) which is just past the coffee tent. That is the dark wooden building just past the maypole and concrete pad on the left. That means we will be up in the front of the faire. During swamp or hard rain days we are allowed to use the concrete pad for teaching. As many of you have requested them we have permission to sell shirts and sticks as well. We will probably have a group price for weapons and shirts. Also we will have a deck which we will set the tent on. No more sitting or resting in SWAMP STEVE! No more moat monster! I have come to the conclusion that with your help on a weekend we could put a lot of things up in the area to train with. ( Brook thinks this is good too, though I will need to get his permission on the infant day care stations) Steve Turk
