I'm planning on going to the faire finally after years of planning to but falling short. So, if anyone lives near me and would want to hang out and show me the ropes of the faire that be great. Also if your a single woman around my age even better but I'm not pushing my luck on that. And if you do become a friend of mine I got the hook up maybe if you plan on going to the Ohio Renaissance Festival if you plan on camping. GD

Just be friendly and outgoing with everyone at faire and you'll make quick friends.

I'm a bit shy at first so I'm not sure how fast I can. Lol Not good for a man who is supposed to be a corsair.

you'll get used to it. I was the same until i played nadja, and i daresay i was probably the loudest gypsy there, and not because of my jewelry lol. but i can give you a hand if you want. i want a ride there in return though! are you going every weekend?

I might, just has to depend on my mundane life. So far I've never had to work weekends. If I go the first week and like it I might get a season pass then go to the ORF later in the Summer since my Aunt and Step uncle have a place not too far from the site that I can camp out at for nothing. The place is huge from what I gathered when I walked his property the last time I was there.

My dear boy, thou art most welcome to loiter about my place wherest thou art likely to connect with other well met folk. On any given day, I'm usually blessed with at least one lingering visit from the likes of Trevor, Britney, Hank, Bunbun, Barret, Silent Lion, A Washing Well Wench, a Man at Arms, Knights Templar, priests, pirates, alpacas, wandering minstrels, Hokie, Chubby with Marie, Callista the Fetch it Fairy, the Rat Catcher, the Celtic Wench, Lady Simon de Roquefort, Princes Amnesia, Hawise, lovely ladies and lasses, and many beloved other friends, even royalty. Find me at me hospitable cottage and garden bistro at the backest end of Avaloch, with some say the comfortablest seats in Shire, and wondrous flowers, in cool shade. Refresh thyself with bread, cheese, muffins, fruit, beef stycks, and apple cyder for reasonable cost. Early, I'm often near Feast Hall or in front of Renboots with me goodly oxen beasts pulling their cart, sort of a medieval "roach coach". The cottage is always open for guests.

Thank you for your kindness M'lady. I will take you up on your offer, I might also buy a season pass since I promised to escort a young lady to and from the faire.

Ah yes. Olive's place is greatly appreciated. A wonderful place for a weary traveler to sit and take a load off. While sustaining themselves with some of her delicious wares.

Goeffrey, thou dost embarrass your humble servant to call me Lady. Thou wilt see that I am merely a gnarly old peasant woman, though with a kind heart. A young lady. . . already. . .?

Old or young I show respect towards all even if they don't to me.

Such a chivalrous nature! You will find, kind Sir, that most of the ladies in the Shire will be most friendly towards you! That is one of the best parts of Avaloch....the friendly people!
