How do you cope with faire withdrawal? I know I only have two weeks to go but I am going CRAZY!

What withdrawal?? Just join the site cleanup crew, we've been mingling with cast since April. You can also come to the meet & greet at our place where there are/where all sorts of patrons, vendors and cast members. (Half of whom are still sleeping in my garage as I write this) Withdrawal symptoms ain't a problem around here! HANK

There's also the option of getting involved with NERO or some other medieval fantasy LARP (live action role play). Yeah, it's geeky, but it's basically just like being faire cast without patrons or rehearsals. And you get padded sticks to beat people with. And there's a few system/rules things so that you know when you're hurt or dead or when the magic people throw at you via birdseed packets effects you. ^^' It's a lot of fun and it's a good faire fix, at least for me.

I had thought of trying that, but now that I have a kid...don't have time...maybe I can geek out my son when he gets older and we can join together...
